Would you go to a concert or live show alone?

If I go to a concert with people, they're usually a fan of cheap seats, and if it's an arena with thousands of seats, it's impossible to see the performers without binoculars (or I have to watch the TV screens if the concert venue has big screens, but I don't go to concerts to watch a video screen).

If I want a nice expensive seat where I can see the performers well, I'd probably have to go alone. Though, when thousands of cars are parked like a can of sardines, traveling with other people would be less stressful. Would you go to a concert or live show on your own?

I don't think I've EVER gone to one WITH someone except the Lolapalooza, Ringo Starr, Yes, King Crimson, The Monkees, Philip Glass and Todd Rundgren gigs. One of the Fishbone shows I went to, my bassist showed up, at another Fishbone show, my guitarist showed up and, at another King Crimson show, a bassist friend of mine, my bassist and a future good friend of mine were all there. Of the 60 or 70 other concerts I've been to, I went alone. All the gigs we've played with other bands, I went with my band and SOMETIMES my girlfriend showed up.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. I usually go with my dad, and he's such a cheapass and always gets seats on the lawn, where it's basically a fucking free for all. He claims he likes the "atmosphere", but I know he's just being a cheap fucker. I don't even wanna go with him anymore.

No I am not a fan. If I actually liked the stuff, I don't see why not, but you usually find friends with same interests so you would go with them.

Yes and I have. When I was in college Eric Anderson performed and nobody wanted to go with me so I went by myself. I an glad I did because he was really good.

It's always better to go with somebody that has similar taste of music. You have some great experiences at a any concert.
