What act of kindness has someone done for you?

I always treasured gifts from my students at the end of the year. Even during holidays. I'm currently drinking from a yeti coffee mug that a student got for me with an embossment of the title of a funny YouTube video she showed me when she was a freshman and it was always like our little joke. Just the fact that they thought enough of me to get some token of their esteem was always so intensely gratifying. I'd be a liar if I told you at the end of the school year there were always tears either for those students that were really special but always for the graduating seniors when they asked you to sign their yearbook.
My (now) employer paid my hospital bill (a week in ICU) when I had no insurance covering it.
He probably saved my life.
His name: Michael Floeth :)
I have learned if you are nice to others it will come back in return. It has happened to me. I forgot to close my garage door amd my neigh went to close it for me. Very kind people.
My friend got me food last year when there was a computer glitch that caused all my banking and credit cards to get declined even though I had money.

Just in the last hour, a couple of people kindly replied to my response to a question that I was almost positive would elicit hatred towards me, judging from the other hateful comments that were already posted on the question.
Instead, two people replied to me with basic human kindness.
I'm grateful to them for having done so. ❤️❤️
I had just endured a particularly challenging and intense whipping. As I kneeled on the floor, exhausted, Mistress in all her divine authority, took a moment to kneel beside me, her fingers gently stroking my hair as I whimpered. In a soft, caring voice, she explained why she had to punish me and it made me feel better, because I knew that I had been a very, very bad slave.
So far, last night. Helped in time of need and lots of hugs, too : ) .. was on a natural high for a while.

Someone helped me with my packages on a day that I was completely exhausted from helping someone else move their entire 4-fl house.
I left my job last week. All week people have come over to me and thank me for alll my help and to tell me they will miss me. My boss and his boss both took me out to lunch too.
Many things from food and drinks to a car when I really needed one.
Twice this year someone has paid the balance of my grocery purchase.(Never thought myself cute, but I guess that can be a septuagenarian perk.)
Today a sweet lady fixed my dress (my dress got torn and she adjusted a safety pin to cover the torn part) when others didn't.
