What's the kindest thing anyone's ever done for you, and why did it mean so much to you?

A guy ran a stop sign and hit my car and then took off. A guy who lived at the address of one of the houses at the intersection was outside and he jumped in his car and chased the hit and run driver down. The guy didn't even know me. I was very appreciative. Because, I'm not bagging on cops. But unless there is bodily harm they don't get in a big hurry to catch offenders like this. Because they figure the insurance will pay for it, problem solved. I actually had my car ran into at a gas station once and it was no small ding it did over 2000 dollars in damage a cop was at the gas station, they had footage of the incident, And the offender still got away.

I dropped my wallet in a parking lot with 450 cash in it. They used my driver's license to locate where I lived and dropped it off a half hour after I'd been in the parking area.

They stuck around the parking lot hoping to recognize me from my photo.

There are still some really good honest folks out there.👍

I have been done so many kind things throughout my life. It’s very hard to pick one. I’ve been blessed with lots of kind people. I am a lucky person.

The kindest though,

Was probably my brother, he was younger than me, and when we were children, every-time he saw me hurt and crying, he would come, find me, not say the word, just hug me and cry with me.

I felt like, if not my brother, I’d never learn that world is a beautiful place too.

The worst person I’ve ever met did hire me right out of college. Even before I left college. I see that as one of the best things that happened to my career.

He turned out to be a terrible boss. But I learned a lot. And now hire college kids to give them as much experience with pay (which makes them a professional by definition) as possible

My wife had an artist do a picture of 2 of my cats that were taken from a picture. They were such good buddies. Sadly they both are gone. I still get all choaked up when I look at it.
