Years ago, I was having a really rough time in my life. I was deep in depression and broke. Randomly around Christmas time, my old high school buddy asked me out to lunch. I was trying really hard during our lunch to just keep it together but I was truly like 100 miles away in my mind. After our lunch he gave me a Christmas card, and inside was $100. I was in shock because I hadn't seen him in so long, but he started telling me about all the things he was grateful that I had done for him and how he was always taught to pay it forward. I literally wanted to cry. I desperately needed that money at the time unknown to him, and it really started me on a path back to myself again. I honestly feel like he was an angel watching out for me when I needed it most.

Nothing over the too but I appreciate every little nice thing someone has done for me! Just holding the door open, paying for my food, helping me move in, etc. If they go out of their way to be nice to me I appreciate them!

Lots of things show kindness. A guy I knew who hosted a local event invited me to spend time together for Christmas with his small family. They had a 2 year old son and it will be one of my favourite Christmass. Another guy gave me his iPhone after I told him mine broke , since he had an upgrade and didn't need his. Another guy put me up in their home for a weekend when I went to go visit a near by concert but my room got cancelled. Good people exist. It takes effort to be one but good people will remember

One time i was at Jollibee's A popular Filipino fried chick establishment. The lady was on the phone and I had to wait 30 seconds extra. As a means of apology she gave me 2 large pieces of chicken and extra gravy at no extra charge.

One time I was at Popeyes chicken. A popular KFC competitor. I ordered 2 orders of tenders. when I got home i found that i was given 3 order instead of 2 at not extra charge.

One time I was at TIm Hortons. A popular Canadian coffee shop. When i got my coffee there were 2 little hearts drawn on it. Markings are done to distinguish between how many sugars, creams or milk there are but mine only had hearts. The coffee tasted like poo but it was over shadowed by the goodness of somebody taking the time to drawn a little heart.

So many people have done nice things its a blessing. Dont let capitalism deter you from giving a little extra

After my father passed I went for a long as walk, didn't look at my phone and cried and at one point I was in the middle of nowhere and my now ex called me multiple times until I picked up the phone.
He came and got me (it was already pretty late), he tucked me in a blanket and made me food and just cared for me

I missed my flight with American Airlines and they set me up with a new flight. I will always be grateful to them. They are an amazing organization, and they really care about their customers. I love them so much. If anyone needs to travel by plane anywhere, you should definitely choose American. They are the BEST!

I went through my first breakup with someone I loved in college and the next day I found out that someone had folded my laundry for me... Like, I was the only basket filled with folded laundry in the room and whether it was a mistake or not, it really did make me smile for a little bit.

I had a boss go out of her way to get me a letter of recommendation and a introduction that resulted in an direct promotion. I mean it was 100% professional and I never though she as my boss would go that far out of her way.

I was about to lose my house and a guy I hardly even know gave me over $4000 to try to buy it but, it didn't work out. I know it was a gift but, I intend to pay him back, some day.

One of my coworkers made a grand birthday gift box for me at my desk, coordinated it such that i was in meetings so she could make it a huge surprise. I loved it. Problem? she's not my wife and my wife was NOT happy about it. Lol
