I was taking a walk, and noticed this handsome guy. I immediately smiled when I saw him. He was shy and wouldn't come to me... but he had a cute "meow". One day he'll let me pet him... lol

There’s an older guy I play hockey with, been teammates with him before, and he actually was the unlikely hero to help win my first championship. Absolute animal, he’s like 60-something, rolls up to the parking lot after the game with high-quality beers, with a tucked-in tie-dye t-shirt and dad jeans/sneakers, lmfao, loves to talk about his punk rock days in the late 70s/early 80s.

So, as you probably know, I can be quite emotional if things aren’t going well in a game, like I’ll just be withdrawn, even catatonic. But NO MATTER WHAT, if I’m playing with or against ol’ Charlie and he has to sprint-skate…. I laugh every time😂

@Iron_Man not even close, man😂 We have a handful of young guys with some wheels, but they can’t skate with NHL level players. The rest of us are middle-aged, lot of dad bods and outright fat dudes😂 Some of them can play, despite that, but this is basically a hockey equivalent of Pop Warner football, but for grown-ups, hahaha

@Iron_Man Technically we aren’t supposed to check at this level, just on the logic of “guys have to work in the morning”…. but we still have some pretty good collisions. A few levels higher, they allow it. I need to get better at the hockey part before I try that though, or I’ll be the one getting laid out😂

@Iron_Man oh, was gonna say, that older guy has a son just coming out of high school, and the son was into snowboarding, but I think some goofy kind of snowboarding event, not the big aerial flips, I think it’s more like a steeplechase but with snowboards, haha.

Anyway, the dad got into it too, and he’s gone off to Oregon to compete in the Nationals…. and he comes home with all these silver medals because he’s only one of two guys who compete in the 60+ division. So he just automatically medals every time, even though the other guy is way better than him and doing much longer. Literally gave one of the medals away to a teammate, he doesn’t even care about them😂 But yeah, he gets out there and stays active, hope I can do the same at his age

she was a nurse for 42 years, we meant in 1979 she was at that time working in a nursing home, i was bring her in a patient, had another nurse there that had been trying to date me for months, but i didn't like her lol, on my way out that nurse gave me her number as well as my late wifes, called her 2 days later, we were married 37 years, she passed Feb19th 2018
