I don't think that I've heard the term "bro" in 30 years or more.
Is "bro" being recycled from the junkheap of worn-out terms again these days?
I thought that it sounded odd back then and I still do.
If someone who was 20 called me "bro", I wouldn't feel disrespected at all, but I would wonder where they got, and furthermore, why they chose to use, a slang dictionary from the distant past.
