Both. Cats are an invasive species and outdoor cats decimate local wildlife populations; but they’re also fodder to coyotes and foxes. But some will eat their quarry others will bring them to their humans because they we’re bad hunters and others will eat their fill then bring them to the owners

They will go out and kill something bring it home and show you and then they leave it as a gift , watch a tiger stalk and it is so focused that at a dead sprint there head remains level with very little movement same with cheeteh
