Is Stillwater in Oklahoma really boring?

I'm about to visit a friend for the first time and I've heard a lot of people complaining about how boring it is

It’s not rude at all, just ask if he has anything in mind for your visit. You could also research the area and see if there’s anything that you’d want to do or try during your visit. I’m sure he’d be down for whatever if it’s not too crazy.
