To me it tastes like liquid medicine - maybe because of all of the chemicals they put in it.
The best water I ever tasted was from our backyard garden hose! When we were kids and it was so hot during the summer we could always count on good Ole garden hose water to quench our thirst. Yummy!😋
Maybe they should have bottled that water because it sure tasted better than the crappy water I have to drink now.

I live in a town that has excellent water. There is a spigot outside the town barn and people from other towns come by and fill up their jugs. I drink a lot of water.

there are reverse osmosis water treatment equipment. It takes everything out of the water. You actually have to add mineral to it or it will leach important minerals out of your body.

Yes. Meanwhile I don't like taste of bottled water. Probably it's just in my head but i can taste plastic in water. I consider to buy a CO2 saturator like soda stream but with glass bottle, since tap water in my district comes from 300m deep Jurassic source.
This came after my first covid when I lost taste for 1 month and after that everything smelled like burnt plastic for me.

I only have a britta water filter it stays in the refrigerator I pour water into it every day and it's filtered. It's probably not the best as you can get, but it does work. You can see and taste the difference

and when I get to heaven one of the first things I am going to ask him is why did he make us so that we have to drink water or we will die? Of course I have other curious questions I am going to ask him, but that's on my list!
There were times in my life when it was nothing for me to drink a glass of water from my kitchen tap - but it tasted better back then. I don't even like it in my mouth!! I can't help it.

I drink water because everything with chemicals and sugar is less healthy. I like peppermint tea - hot or cold. I like orange juice but fresh and not in plastic bottles - mostly it is not juicy but an extract. Not what I want! Of course I like sweet drinks - that is why I drink them rare so it remains anything special and unhealthy. I rarely drink lemonade or cola. I used to drink non-alcoholic wheat beer or mixed beer with a little apple juice. Peppermint tea, coffee or sparkling water are cheaper and healthier. If you don't get so fat you feel better. Sweat less in summer and more stamina. That is cool.

Water in general no, tap water yes. Our city if high in both chlorine and lime, so I really hate it, but I don't mind it filtered and enjoy bottled spring water. Have you tried filtering your water? If your water isn't too bad you can probably get away with a carbon filter, but if your is like mine and is high in minerals such as lime, then you'll need something like a Zero water filter. I've tried Zero water filter for a short period, made my tap water taste great, but ended up being more expensive than bottled spring water, so I drink bottled spring water.

I've found the best tap water in Scotland and some of the worst in US and Asia. The chemicals put in there are dependent on the source as there are things in the natural water that won't be good or taste pleasant.

Personally I like water but it's better when heated and have a tea bag steeped in it for a bit

It's 100% because of the chemicals in the water. I believe that's also why a lot of people hate fish. What's more, big corporations like coca cola profit off water tasting like it's polluted. Although that water that came out of your hose was definitely just as toxic, as kids we're just less critical.

Ok here where I live we dont have sich problems. I drink at home much water without cooking. It is cheaper and I needn't to carry bottles and no microplastic from plastic bottles. Where I live the water has better quality than the water in the supermarket. It is without gas that is the difference but it has higher quality standards than the water in the supermarket. So often people use soda stream to add the gas at home.

I'm afraid of those microplastics too. I think about them every time I drink out of a plastic bottle. This is just one more thing that makes life so great. Not!
I know for sure that my apartment buildings tap water has cadmium in it because we were sent a notification about it years ago.
I guess we can run, but we can't hide!

You can definitely taste minerals. It's easy to tell the difference between water pumped from a well on the Mojave desert and from a well in the mountains of Utah. It's totally different water. You can try the brand that has minerals, it might be better. You could also ad a small amount of salt, that will make it taste different. I wouldn't add too much though, you don't want to consume a lot of salt.

Maybe invest in a filter to purify your sink water. I have a ZERO water filter and it gives me a little gadget to monitor its purity so I know when to replace it.

I find that Evian water is a bit more satisfying to drink than most bottled water. It has lots of minerals. It feels like it has the texture of drinking juice, or some other thicker liquid.

Yes, it’s hard to find water that I can drink plain because they have a bad taste in them, the only store bought water I like is Evian, I did find another good one by accident at a big truck stop store called Bucees in Florida called silver Springs water in bottles that was also as good as, try spring water, the only water I’ve ever tasted that was good from the tap was in Albany, New York and I’ve been to many states in the United States and could tell you which ones are good or bad

I DON'T HATE anything or anybody. Water is not my favorite but I do drink it cold from my Stanley water bottle. I actually prefer drinking cold tea, Gatorade/Powerade and iced coffee for cold drinks.
