Anonymous(30-35)1 yLook. I’m not dating someone who has the woke mind virus. If someone introduces herself as she/her at first I’m gonna laugh thinking she’s joking, and then I’m probably gonna figure this ain’t for me and gracefully leave.
Especially if it’s they/them. Like for real. Most the time I know I’m going out with a woman. I want someone who shares the same values as I do. Not someone who changes who she is for me…. Or pretends to be someone she’s not.
But I’m sorry. I would laugh…

Asker1 yI wouldn't date someone, who discriminates and treats other people differently based on their ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, like conservatives do. That would go against my values

Anonymous(36-45)1 yI think it's more important to share what biological sex you are, so they can make decisions through informed consent. But yeah you should probably share if your pronouns don't match your sex, because that could really indicate a difference in ideologies or a concern for where you might be taking yourself in the future.

1 yYes. It would show what type of person they are. Are they respectful of your identity or do they just not care?

Asker1 yAh exactly. These are also my thoughts. I don't know this question is getting so much hate
People tend to not like change, especially when that change threatens their own social standings and masculinity.
Anonymous(18-24)1 yif someone did that to me it would be the last date

How doesn’t it have empathy? My gosh. Besides. If someone’s so different politically they probably wouldn’t make a good match anyways. So

@Daniela1982 and that's already a thing
Asker1 y@Summeroflove I mean why does it bother you how someone chooses to identify as long as they aren't harming anyone? I seriously don't get the hate you guys. Why don't you focus your energy on things that actually matter (such as public corruption, poverty, climate change etc.)?

Would you like your pre-teen daughter to be traumatized by a naked man in her school gym locker room?
Well, there's where the hate comes in: These trannies believe they have the right to use women's facilities... and you agree with that? - 1 y
Because people get fired for refusing to call someone besides their birth name or gender. That's what this Wokeness is doing.

1 yIf it's obvious what gender you are it's not necessary. I've had obviously female college professors introduce themselves with "she/her" pronouns and it's like, I can literally see that you have boobs and feminine features and clothes but thanks for the heads up.
If it's not obvious what kind of genitals you have or what thing you prefer to be called, you may as well disclose that on the first date or even before when arranging the date.

1 yPlease do!
They/ Them... and I am out; better to come with that right at the start of something than later.
Same goes for Vegans... Tell me you are a Vegan before we date, so I won't waste my time.
I may be seen as a bastard now... Fine... but I am not having people force their ways onto me; I don't do that to other people either.10 Reply- 305 opinions shared on Other topic.

Asker1 yYou know that being transgender is no longer considered as a mental illness by science and psychiatrists..
- 1 y
Just because science is not longer allowed to say this cause it's no longer considered politically correct doesn't means that it's not true anymore.
1 yPronouns are a bunch of bullshit.
You were born either a male or a female.
If you feel you're of the opposite sex, you should consult a psychiatrist.

Asker1 yActually the American Psychiatric no longer lists being transgender as a mental disorder in its Diagnostic manual of mental disorders. You must be a time traveler from the 19th century

Damn whatever the APA and the WHO have to say about mental disorders.
1 yIf that's something you do or care about then absolutely.
For me if someone said that my response is "I don't do that crap". If that offends the other person then I know it would've never worked anyways.

I just don’t like woke garbage. Have nothing against normal democratic policies… hence why I’m pro choice.
I don't know how many times I need to say that.

It would be a good idea to try and live in reality instead of a liberal fantasy that holds you in blindness while the ones benefitting from your dizziness live a life of luxury off of our backs.
