Do you have a co-worker that goes by the opposite gender at work but not outside of work?

I have a co-worker that looks female but prefers to go by he/him but one day I found out that at home she is a wife and mother and she has a son and goes by she/her (at work she claims her husband and toddler son are just roommates)

I might be that coworker (not literally, but in an equivalent way). Agender to the people I trust, but female to those I don't. My parents don't know, because they would be assholes about it. My online friends know, because they understand. Considering coming out to people I know IRL at my college, since it's a pretty LGBTQ+ friendly college, despite the very Christian part of Texas it's in. To some people, maybe that would seem like I'm lying. I'm really just trying not to get hate crimed or ostracized by my own family.

The husband and child thing is weird though... I could easily say she realized she was trans late in life and doesn't know how to navigate the situation with her child and husband, so she has to keep her real gender identity and the identity she acts as with her family separate. But the fact that she completely denies even having a child and husband? Genuinely extremely odd. Can't really come up with a rational explanation for that.

He’s probably just out at work but not at home. Transitioning is always difficult for people already in a relationship and he most likely knows his husband won’t stay with him if he transitions into fully becoming a man and is trying to have that balance. Ultimately, it’s none of your business and you should leave it alone.
