How do you react when you're caught looking?

I was in one of my local bike shops yesterday ordering a new tire. Chatted with a group of men for a while at the counter, they were all hanging around on their Facebook pages on their phones claiming to be selling whatever. Asked them if I could volunteer and get some actual work done. Ha.
Anyway was leaving and then randomly turned around remembering I wanted to ask them if they wanted to buy one of my punching bags. And caught them all checking me out as I was walking away. •snort•
Two spun sideways and even with all those shiny new bikes propped around the shop suddenly found the ceiling and wall fascinating. Another found a pamphlet stack was out of alignment but was smiling guilty. And the fourth looking like he was stroking briefly before turning for the computer.
Naturally, I slapped on a big grin and rubbed all their reddening noses in it. Left them laughing. It was great fun.

So do you own it and smile?
Do you hide it?
Hopefully everyone was light hearted to you and not traumatizing.

While I feel there is absolutely no reason to act funny... I most certainly will. I am naturally somewhat insecure in these kinds of situations... but I also strongly feel that despite the' Me Too' movements being needed, men, in general, have been blamed too much and are being portrait too much as 'Perverts'.

While I would love to make a compliment... nothing special and without any intentions... this no longer seems to be appreciated. So just for the sake of avoiding needless confrontation, I will keep my mouth shut and pretend I was doing something else than admiring the female's body.

If you are smooth about it with a genuine smile you're more than likely fine. It's the drooling stare that sets the hackles up. The kind you don't want a daughter getting. lol

Lol, my daughter came out as Lesbian a number of years ago... in a way I was relieved that I didn't have the worry about horny boys harassing her... but horny girls could do the same of course.

There is also that I am fully aware that Skinheads have gotten a very bad name throughout the decades because of some very toxic elements in society who claim to be like us (The 'Neo-Nazis')

While most people whom I meet do still remember the multi-cultural origins of Skinhead, and I never get into 'nasty' surprised (It has happened here, sadly, even though I am clear about myself and the origins of Skinhead)... I am always fully aware that people may not appreciate me and what I do because they think they know me and what it means to be Skinhead.

A couple of years ago a Goth couple got attacked and murdered simply for looking different by some scumbags (I don't know whether they claimed to be Skinheads, but it may well be)... So Goth people in general, and Girl specifically, have become a bit wary and afraid.

(I love the Goth styles, and I strongly feel, in general, that Goth Girls are really hot and attractive)

I’ve only been “caught looking” once in my life. I didn’t do anything. I didn’t know what to do. I have a strong aversion to irrational behavior. I knew i was busted, so i didn’t really react.
It sucks because she completely stopped interacting with me for a long time. By the next time we shared words, she didn’t even remember who i was.

I've been caught looking a few times. I just smiled and said " I'm sorry but I couldn't resist ". One woman just smiled back. Another woman said it was ok. The last woman asked if I wanted her to put on a show. I just said it wasn't necessary, I saw enough. I was married all 3 times

Nothing wrong with looking. It comes off as complimentary when men are easy going about it. (That last one was a spitfire.)

I just smile or laugh. I've never been caught looking except by my girl, in large part due to the fact that I keep my eyes UP. Of course I have to look at her though ;)

Very little. It gives a sheen to them that you just HAFTA kiss. Believe me I am not a fan of makeup in my wife doesn't wear any and she looks beautiful without it. I would never date a girl that has a cosmetics bag that looks like a suitcase or a bathroom that looks like Estee Lauder wss raided.

Smile or just look kind of dumbfounded. Sometimes I approach. I get caught looking constantly. One girl always looks back or is already looking when I look. She's always with the same guy though.
