I have a question for the older music 🎶🎸🎷🎺 buff's on here. How did the song In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida get it's name?

This was one of the biggest, long running rock-'n'-roll songs played in 1968. The band was The Iron Butterfly.
NO CHEATING! NO GOOGLING IT! EITHER YA KNOW OR YA DON'T KNOW.
I HAPPEN TO HAVE FOUND OUT MANY YEAR'S AGO. I WANT TO SEE IF ANYONE ELSE KNOWS.
That year we all sang that song around other people, yet, none of us knew what it meant but we sang the heck out of it.
The original vinyl album cover is totally psychedelic looking - like an acid trip.
