What would you do if you were given a fake 100 bill?

You sell something online on a website like Facebook marketplace and it costs a lot of money when you go to put the money in the bank later you find out it's fake how would you guys handle a scenario like that?

You are basically screwed because the bank won't give you the fake 100 bill back. I know this because it happened to me. I was just going to get the money and use it at the supermarket.

Yeah you have to feel 20s 50s and 100s if they have that unique texture your goldin if not then it's a no no

My brother received a fake $100. from HSBC bank plus a few others $100 bills. he came home (trusting the bank) then checked, one of them was fake. That was prob the only one time incident.
Still, I learned to always count in front of the them before leaving.

@Iron_Man I worked as a cashier for 2 years in HS. Generally the feel is very diff.
True… many have made very “real” fake bills, glad I haven’t encountered any.
