1 ySomeone over me
I had started my 2nd year Chef's Apprenticeship at a hotel; on my 2nd time a Female Chef was going to leave. I was there when she left, wished her all the best and all, and that was it.
I started to receive text messages from her; and roses sent to my flat. She called me too, but when I picked up I heard nothing. That went on for quite some time. I tried to phone her parents to make her stop, but I never managed to get through to them.
I had told all this to my neighbour, and he said "Give me her phone number, I will make her stop". I assumed he was going to prank her.
Weeks later I got a letter from the police telling me I had to appear on the Police station for an interview. No real reason being given other than that the female was involved. I told my neighbour, and he requested me not to say anything about him.
I went to the police station and got interrogated. The police officer did not go into detail. Just that something had happened to the female, and who were involved. I had no idea what could have happened and said only I was involved; no one else. All of a sudden the tone of voice and demeaner of the police officer changed and he said "How is threatened her!"
The penny dropped... I was going to get charged for something I did not do; so I have my neighbour's name. The Police Officer said that he knew it couldn't have been me because I have a different accent than the neighbour... Naturally I was fuming because I didn't know he had threatened her. The police officer also told me that the neighbour had been called to the police station already before me and he had give the police my name.
The Police had all the information they needed, and let me go. I went home, and gave the neighbour an earful; never spoke to him again.
A letter from the court arrives; the neighbour and I had been given the opportunity to settle the case out of court. We would each have to pay €400; he paid it, in person... I refused to pay. I felt I was not responsible and let the case go to court.
I had a good pro-bono lawyer... and he successfully managed to put the female down as a 'nutter' and obsessed (she compared me to a box of chocolate: "When I start eating a box of Chocolate, I just can't stop and have to continue"... that's what she has said!).
In the end I did have to pay a fine, but only of €100.
Back then, as mentioned, I didn't feel responsible... but now that I am older I have to admit that I was responsible; I provided 'Means & Motive', would I not have told my neighbour about and not have given him her phone number - She would not have been threatened.00 Reply

1 yI’ve had two female stalkers. It’s a big part of what motivated my interest in gender equality. There’s literally NOTHING for male victims in the society we’ve created, save MORE victimization.

1 yI don’t know at what level of obsession is consider obsess…
i remember I used to hang out with different groups of friends… one day… someone from the group said “………” is having a house warming … cool… I’ll go.
I have gone out with him like once or twice… but I never saw it as a date since I go out with my other guys friends alone all the time… the rumor had it that he was 28, an only son and moved out the first time for me. I was still clueless why he would do such thing… one day he call me elusive. I was still clueless because I was like 22 and in college and having fun going out with my friends. So that was that. Was he being obsessed? Don’t know.10 Reply
463 opinions shared on Other topic. Yes, I know people who were obsessed with me, a guy who loved me, he even kept my hair
A girl who every time saw me, screamed and jumped around, but she didn't approach me, once I said hello to her, she waved then she ran away 😭 and I spoke to her later, she told me that she loved me too much, I didn't even know her
and another girl who was so clingy, we weren't even friends, I just told her my name because she asked me and since then she stuck me everywhere...
And I was obsessed with a guy...12 Reply

1 yIt's been both ways
When I love I really do love hard and I might have had a couple obsessions here or there
Right now I'm trying to practice healthy detachment and control my emotions and feelings.15 Reply

Asker1 yNot much of a best friend

Yep... didn't realize that. Now I see my real best friend was the guy I treated like crap. I kicked and hit him all the time and choked him one time when I lost it. (Luckily got ahold of my senses.) He was the only one concerned about me when I started homeschool and actually was a much better friend than he was. But it's too late now... far too late.
Asker1 yWell its probably too late but you learned something and that caused several changes to your character I'm sure, mistakes is a way of how people learn, it happens, and who knows maybe one day life will give you the opportunity to fix this wrong if you ever run into the person again, it's a small world after all.

Yeah, true.
I had 3 people who had an a obsession over me.
I won't go into details because it kinda got dark

Asker1 yAre you currently? 😂
Opinion Owner1 yHis account is private so I’m kinda stuck
Asker1 yOoof, that sucks, maybe he realized you were stalking him lol
Opinion Owner1 yNo it’s been private for a while, but I found his twitter and his sports highlights on YouTube but it’s so oldddddd, I wanna see who he’s following
Asker1 yThen why are you so scared to add the dude, the worst he can do is not add you back, besides aren't you tired of the whole not being noticed thing, you are wasting time that could be useful to your life, at the least you can have access to more information to stalk on 😂
Opinion Owner1 yWe got in a fight 😫😫😫 not physical, I just yelled at him but now I wanna know more about his life. I had a good reason, he hooked up with me and then started ghosting me so I got mad and it was my first hookup ever
Asker1 yWell that's not healthy at all, I think maybe it's best to just move on, the private account is making it easier for you tbh, it's kinda forcing you to move on and that's what you need, I thought it was someone you were interested in but y'all haven't met yet, this changes everything.
A lot of guys have been obsessed with me
