Have you ever thought of dying?

Someone that I work with recently said that they hope they only live to 50 and if they don't, they'll see to it that they only live to that age. They said they can't imagine living another 20 years in this "horrible world." I thought that was such a weird thing to say because they seem so successful in their job, & full of life but yet they don't seem like they have a real interest in living when they told me that so casually. Maybe they were just trying to get attention saying something so drastic.

When I was in my teens I was a little bit daredevilish crazy and I figured I'd only live until my twenties same with my best friend well he died s*** probably about 10 years ago. Supposed to have a Hawaiian shirts at a party we had the party or his sister and mother did for him which is great I just got done taken care of my mother with full-blown dementia it was crazy but she just passed she was 89 . . Death is a crazy thing we are all fighters no matter what I don't care what position you put us in we're going to fight to stay alive no matter how sad how depressed you are it's natural instinct. I was born I'm... I think women are supposed to get pregnant at that age then she had two more kids after me and she had a struggle each time she's a fighter

The world is a different place than it was I believe it's going to get worse depending on our politicians that we elect

In the 60s '70s when there was change and our politicians were going the wrong direction because of their greed we would have protest we need to start doing that again otherwise everybody's going to want to die because right now whether you believe it or not your fruits your vegetables your meat your chicken is fake we're eating fake food it's been engineered through science to look the same but genetically it is not the same. It's not that we're going to want to die we're all going to die because we're not going to be getting the nutrition that we should be getting and our government is allowing this sorry I'm rambling but it has to do with living or dying I believe we are all fighters but we need to start fighting now because if we don't it's going to take forever to get back on our feet and start doing things the right way and a lot of unnecessary deaths are going to happen

But to answer your question I know I'm going to die I know I'm going to a better place that's all of our destinies become one with self one with others and one with this universe and be the best you can possibly be to get there so when you get there you have a foot up you have a step up on everything..

But no I want to be on this planet as long as possible no matter what it takes no matter my struggle because I want all the knowledge I can help possibly gain I want all the experience I can possibly gain with each and every step and breath of fresh air and whether people know it or not we are running out of oxygen the planet is running out of oxygen the planet is running out of fresh water we are destroying ourselves

Don't look at people in a superficial way, many whom you think that they are happy and successful are sad and depressed from the inside, no who is truly happy would wish death!

Hi, Hope your day is going good... As we know, we are up against this Presidential election coming up November 2024. No matter who wins, there will be baggage left over. In my opinion, I feel Trump will win, and he will do such a horrible job as U. S. President that come year 2028. No matter who the Democrat is, they will sweep the States and turn them all Blue. Then again, this same thing can happen with Miss Harris. She will do such a horrible job, who ever the Republican is, they will run against her second term and defeat her with a landslide and turn all the States Red. So this is why people have such a poor attitude about living, and yes this is something to think about. I don't see Trump running another term I believe he can't do so come year 2028, but Vance may be able to run his first term as U. S. President then again he is a rubber stamp off of Trump and I doubt people would support him for U. S. President. We have to realize that Trump wants to control Women and their bodies and all Trump and Vance do is bully the Democrats now God does not want us to bully anyone. I don't see Harris and Walz bullying people, but lies and bullying could get Trump and Vance elected. No matter, this election will cost America to go down boot hill. There will be riots no matter who wins. Trump and Vance are not politicians, they belong in movies. I don't see Vance certifying the election for Harris if she wins, so someone will have to step up to do it and I see a lot of illegal activity coming up, and I see a lot of sorrow and sadness all because people can not get along. I hate to say this but Trump and Vance are the two most hated people who are not loving and caring they care for themselves and hell with American people, hey you fell for my lies now I am in office. Now this is something to think over for sure why people want to die and not lived their lives, yet this is kind of sad for sure. But there will be suicides happen come Nov 2024. Trump is the most dangerous person, but people don't care. We're living in the last days. We will see a huge Red cross in the Sky that will be Jesus second coming back and take back the World. See, God is giving us signs, but people are ignoring them. God is sending his Son, Jesus back, he died for Our Sins. Now it's time for him to take people, some will go to Heaven, but some will go to Hell. I got the gift to foresee things about to happen, let's just sit back and watch. Miss Harris doesn't seem dangerous, but only God will tell us, let's pray and wish for the best. I wish America the best Jan 2025, but only time will tell.

Wait and see how she feels at fifty. There's a REASON people's happiness usually peaks in those years of late middle age, and it's not always apparent from outside.

I've hit some REAL low points in life; I've been (briefly) sleeping rough and surviving off ketchup packets I swiped from fast food places I ducked into to use the bathroom. And since nature doesn't have electrical outlets, that was sleeping WITHOUT my Cpap machine- which meant every time I dozed off, I risked waking up blind or deaf or paralyzed or brain damaged or dead (the AHI scale, which rates the severity of sleep apnea, peaks at "over thirty"; mine was more than five times that, and that was BEFORE I started using the machine).

In a situation like that, you begin planning for the worst.

I've never once thought of snuffing myself out, because I've got goals. There are still so many people whom I haven't met yet that I haven't had the chance to piss off. How would I accomplish this if I'm not around any more?

Of course. I am 61. By the time you are my age, you will have a had a few "close calls" but, also, there's no escaping what's coming and, at my age, that could be soon.

But there are days where death feels like a release.
I didn't used to feel that way. I was never suicidal.

But little by little I'm beginning to see what other people probably already saw, I'm a depressed individual and it's chronic.

So few things give me joy in life and even those are fleeting.
My best friend recently wanted to punch my lights out when he noticed that I'm unironically contemplating what death would be like

Yes, several times. Compound fracture of right tibia when hit by a car in a crosswalk when I was 16 was the first time. Surfing the Wedge. Each time I've gone skydiving. I do not fear it.
