Do you take your pets to the groomers?

No - I *am* the pet groomer when a pet needs groomed. But fortunately, that's really only my brother's cat - none of the other pets require fur-cuts. My brother's cat has long hair that gets tangled and matted because he rolls around in the dirt and weeds (he'll go to the neighbors to find some), so every year at the end of spring he brings him over for a "lion cut" - everything below his collar gets shaved except for a ball at the end of his tail.

Airedale Terrier

In the 1980s, when I was a teen, we had an Airedale, which is a large terrier, and terriers need to be groomed a few times a year or more, so I bought some clippers and started grooming her at home, and I got pretty decent at it, and I've just done it ever since. I also have nail clippers and some paw pad balm.

That said, I rarely groom dogs anymore, because we haven't had a dog that needed grooming in a while. I do have to vacuum a whole lot, though.

This is my current dog, and her only long hair is on her tail, which puffs out like this when she's excited - either because someone's home or because she sees something to hunt.

No. My dog doesn’t require regular grooming. He doesn’t have hair that grows. But my roommate is a dog groomer and will sometimes take him in to give him a good bath and blow out but she’s always disappointed because there’s no furnado with him. My moms littles however do have hair that grows and again the roommate will groom them but she doesn’t take them to the salon
