Yeah, I’m like you in that I don’t eat much when I get stressed. Both my mom, (when I lived at home), and now Lee are relentless in making me eat something when I get like that. But I just don’t wanna eat when my stomach is in knots because of stress! Obviously my career can be quite stressful, with constantly dealing with women and young girls during the worst time of their life, so I do have quite a few episodes of anorexia. Now it’s important to note that anorexia is merely the term that’s used broadly in medicine to describe a lack of desire to eat, which can be due to various underlying conditions, or stress. It is also really important to distinguish this from anorexia nervosa, which is a very specific eating disorder that I do not have!
Now… when I am upset, from let’s say a break-up, or the few days before my period (and maybe the first one or two days of it) then I want to eat! Mostly it’s just chocolate, or chocolate ice cream, oh or chocolate-chocolate chip ice cream!

I'm rarely stressed but on the rare occasion I am, a Peanut butter and jelly sandwich is my "go to"! 🤣 It reminds me of when I was a kid and my mommy would make me one. I'll make myself two or three! With a glass of milk. Comfort food.

I'm stressed right now and yes, my appetite has been affected. I love food, but lately even my favorite foods make me feel sick. I eat because I need to, not because I want to.
I just want to go back to my normal self... 😢😢😢

Yeah, it's happened. It takes a lot to stress me out to that point, like maybe 2-3 times a year but my dad was out of town a couple months ago, I thought one of his cats escaped somehow even though I was 99.9% sure there was no way it could've gotten out and I was freaking out all day and had no interest in eating until it just casually walked into the room I was in.
I don't get overly stressed in life. I get really frustrated sometimes. Mainly at work when someone else fucks up and then I have to sit there and try to fix a broken pipe in a crawlspace flooded with sewer water because the homeowner refuses to not use their toilets for 15 minutes... I got lost in the moment. At those times I am stressed and frustrated, but not eating. In life in general I don't think I have a lot of stress to deal with. If I do it doesn't seem to affect my eating.

Not with stress, but with mood changes. I'm usually a happy person but when I'm not, I barely eat anything. I eat like I normally do when I'm stressed out.
I pretty much lose all my appetite when I'm very stressed or upset, I could go the whole day without eating and not even notice till it's close to bed time
