To own something like this.
Nope. Seems like a waste of money. It rapidly depreciates as soon as you drive it off the lot. It's not a source of cash flow unless you're in some sort of car rental business for the entertainment industry. You can even use it to it's potential on most roads. You have to take it to some track likely a couple hours away to play with it on weekends. It would be more impressive if you started a laundry mat near an apartment building.
It's rather the embarrassing statement that one does not know what comfortable travelling is.
Certainly - consumerists need such things to ignore how little they have achieved as a personality, or as a contributor to society. So - well - let them dream on.
The richest people of their own time are now not remembered at all.
But the worst and the 'best' characters are.
That is a cheap-end Lambo and a waste of money. Cars lose their value as soon as you buy them. You are throwing your money away. You have to be able to easily afford a car in order to justify it. If you are rearranging your whole financial picture, it is foolish, and it will harm you down the line. No one ever listens to this advice until they're living in someone's basement and riding the bus.
At almost 28 years old my full minivan feels like more of a achievement than a dumb sports car 😆
This is cooler and get more 🐱
Really, @Apple1996? Minivans are for people who have loads of kids, and have to give up on street cred and sex appeal.
@CaptainSmartass nah that's ridiculous. Obviously people with minivans are very sexy because they keep fucking like rabbits

It's an achievement if you can pay for it in cash and not notice the loss of the money. Otherwise, it's incredibly foolish.
I bought my first HOUSE at 26. And I sold it for double the money 12 years later. A 12 year old Lamborghini is lucky to be worth 50% of your initial price - it's typically worth closer to 30%.
Now, if you make $20M a year, and you already own a home, and have money-generating investments, and you want to treat yourself, then, sure, go right ahead. But if you are financing this car and your payments and insurance are more than 10% of your monthly after-tax pay, then you are a financial moron who will probably end up destroying your credit by getting the car repossessed. And that's IF you don't crash it.
A car, outside of a small number of cars that could be considered an investment, is a LIABILITY - something that generates bills and loses money. It's NOT a flex to lose a ton of money, it's a flex NOT to lose a ton of money, and an even bigger flex to have enough investments that if you stopped working tomorrow, you'd still earn more than enough to pay your bills. Once you get to THAT point, THEN it can be a flex to have a high-end car.
I would say the fact you are mortgage free and have sufficient spare cash to afford a 100k car is a decent achievement, of course if you are not mortgage free and just adding more debt it’s a stupid move. If you are renting and do this, then it’s incredibly stupid.
If you are really into cars, love it and can afford it, sure, why not? But ask yourself this question: are you buying it for yourself or because you want to show off? Most cars like this end up sitting way too long in the garage before being sold at a huge loss.
610 bhp is more than you can possibly handle on an open, public road. That thing is built for a race circuit. Even 300 to 400 bhp on a wet road and a rainy day is asking for trouble.
Depends on what people see as success. Your idea may be different than mine. To me a bigger achievement would be owning things that bring in revenue. Being financially secure, well above your comfort level. Maybe owning your own business. Having good relationships in your life. Being able to help others as well.
Owning something isn’t an achievement.
Let’s say it was through hard work, dedication, uplifting others, and being the best man or woman they could be…. Then yes they’ve earned it as an achievement though by itself no way.
Be prepared to spend like $25,000 maintaining it during the next few years and $10,000 a year insuring it. Unless you don't need that money, you should invest it instead of buying that silly car.
At 28 years old getting out of bed is an achievement for some nowadays.
Yes, that would be a huge achievement if at 28 the person earned it themselves and already had a house that was more than half paid off.
Otherwise, I would think it was a stupid move likely by someone who hasn’t earned it.
Bux Maxxing only gets the kind of attention I don't like to get.
I prefer to be sexually desired by women and envied or admired by other men. Hit the gym.
I mean, if that's the kind of thing you're into.
That kind of showy wealth does not appeal to me. I mean, sure I'd take it, but still, it's not a priority in life.
Luxury flex, but egotistical and vapid. If you're a multimillionaire then maybe, but the first 100k? That's just throwing money away. Might as well rent.
If having a car is an achievement, priorities are all wrong.
It’s things like this that drive men to succeed. It’s good.
It would be if you weren't born wealthy already.
No, it looks cool but it is a sport car.
Status is a limo.
It looks cool, but you couldn't go anywhere in it. The roads aren't built for Lamborghinis. Plus, you could get far newer cars far cheaper than that.
Simples...
It's pretty good better than I'll have but less than my friend in exotic rentals (he bought his at 25 in orange)
Never buy Nouveau riche, buy Old money products.
Not particularly. I'd rather have that kind of money set aside for retirement by that age.
Lamborghini's are over priced. One could have gotten a 2024 Porsche Panamera 4 for the same cost.
Yeah to have so much money that you can afford to spend that much on that car and plenty of money leftover is quite an achievement
I'd suggest real estate but...
@DrPepper12 ditto
But you're not 28 years of age.
That car is boring.
depends on what they did for it...
Yes anyone who says no is jealous
If that is what you want.
If he was a self-made man.
Yes it would
