I'm not a mom, nor will I ever be, but if I had to guess, I'd rate it a 5/10 in diffuculty. And before ladies come after me, yes I know that it can get chaotic at times especially when you have multiple kids, but people have been doing this instinctually since the dawn of time. They've done it with much less means than we have nowadays and especially much less than in the west. You have to feed them, change their clothes and diapers, put them to sleep, take them to the hospitals when they're sick, make sure they're cared for at all times, and you lose out on your own sleep and time that you could've spent focusing on yourself. But that's just part of being a parent. It's a sacrifice to bring something into the world, but the fulfillment you get is much more than cons that come with having and taking care of kids.

Just a personal opinion, but if I was a woman, I'd realy look forward to being a mother. It wouldn't be the only thing that I do. I'd probably try to write my own book, and make my own brand based on something I'm passionate about, but I'd take a lot of pride in being a mother.

12/10. She starts out by pushing a human through a normally much too small orifice or having the child cut out from her body. Just the thought of it give me intense pain. Then she is normally considered the primary caregiver.

Consider this: a guy lies about loving and taking care of her, knocks up a woman and disappears, and many if not most guys will consider her undatable. But if the girl gets knocked up, and the guy who is just as much responsible gets given the child and cares for his own offspring, he's considered a hero.

I never ever considered being my son's Mom hard at all!
My son has learning disabilities and was sick a lot since birth with a parasite that I didn't know he had for two years until I begged the doctor to put him in the hospital. I knew something was terribly wrong with him, but I couldn't convince his doctor for two years!
He had diarrhea and vomiting constantly everyday. Remember, I didn't know about the parasite for two year's.
I would be up all night washing his sheets, pj's and running him under the shower to clean him up. Then go to work everyday.
I still wouldn't call it hard!!
I love him so much that I would do anything for him!!

10/10 hard if you are a good mom and pouring everything into the kids. If it was easy everyone would have 100 kids

Half of it lies in commitment. I think a lot of women don't consider the full commitment it takes. You're not taking care of a fur baby here. It's a human being! What you produce is going to either add to the world or tear it down. There's a reason a woman's most fertile years. Are generally when she's younger. It's because it's when she has the most energy. I'm not one to discourage women from having a career. But I think women that wait to have children past 30 are generally not as committed to thier children. You can't shoehorn children into your schedule. Either they are your first priority or you shouldn't have them. Same goes for MEN! Cause you may give birth to them and raise them for 18 years. But the rest of society has to deal with what you produce for the rest of thier years.

"hard" isn't the right word to describe parenting. Exhausting is the right word. It's only hard if your kids have serious health or developmental issues. Otherwise, it's very simple. Just non-stop effort though.

For some I’d say yes, but if I had to give it a number as a man, I’d say a 5, maybe a 6. I think the reason why a lot of women say it’s hard is because they get emotional. So that plays a role in how hard they feel being a mother is. Men tend to not really get emotional, probably the reason why children supposedly do better growing up in a single parent home w their dad compared to a single parent home w their mother.

It’s hard, that’s why don’y have kid if u can’t take good care of the kid, if u can’t give them education, good foods, psychological approach, moral education and love and many other things.

12.5/10 for a good kid... 15/10 for a troublesome kid... 5-6/10 for a kid managed by a nanny rather than their mom.

A good mom? Yes. Most moms aren't good ones in my estimation. That's easy. Put the kid in front of the TV and give them some freezer dinners.
