Girls, I attended a self defense class at my college and was the only guy?

Well yeah, like I said they teach moves that aren’t allowed in competitive settings. They’re marketed to women because they want to learn how to defend themselves from sexual predators

Dude, self defense classes are to teach women how to defend themselves from rapists, who are men 99% of the time

I know, but these are my classmates. I dont want then to think that i can handle the class as well as they can

The point of the class is to make women stronger than men. You’re supposed to be weaker because you represent the enemy

Yeah that’s true, that makes me feel better. I just though I was being a bad partner because I couldn’t continue sparring after taking a groin kick

Nope. In college and didn’t see they exist here and this campus is huge.

Well woman can't really defend themselves. We're not as strong as men. But nothing wrong with men learning self defense.

Nope. But my husband is a marine. So he taught some stuff himself.

No guy could handle that in general.

But since I’m like double their size, doesn’t it look bad if one of their kicks takes me down? It only happened once in class but some of the girls laughed

It would take any guy down. So don't feel bad. My husband a big guy he goes down if a little kid hits in the groin to hard. And down on the floor he goes.

I guess I’m worried they will think less of my man parts now
