Trump was not judged by a jury of his peers, he was judged by a jury of his enemies under corrupt pretenses. There hasn't been anything proven in that court session that upgrades it from a misdemeanor and I'm sure it will get overturned on appeal.

Now the point you make in the middle is more interesting. You say that a situation like that is what the 2A is for, and yes that is exactly what the 2A is for. If this were to happen to where voting is no longer effectively possible you would have to rise up. But that's why I am pro 2A and against your proposal. I don't want people to have to rise up, I don't want bloodshed. I want a functioning democracy for your country so that people can life in peace.

The fact its a legal way of saying it and the intended situation doesn't mean its actually true. If you have a jury that all know you and severely dislike you due to being political partisans you can't fairly claim that its a jury of his peers if half the country likes him and half the country hates him without an even distribution. Had this been a swing state with a mixed jury you could argue it. In this case my argument of a jury of his haters is entirely valid.

"Why would they have a trial for him in Florida for it?" I use that as a qualification for Jury of HIS peers not for a qualification if he can get sued or not. People in new york aren't his peers since he lives in an entirely different state with an entirely different opinion of him.

But the first bullet point is exactly what I am getting at. You say he was charged with "Falsifying business records in the first degree" as per that first bullet point. If you click on the link they provide to the "New York Penal Law 175-10" you see the following description.

"A person is guilty of falsifying business records in the first degree
when he commits the crime of falsifying business records in the second
degree, and when his intent to defraud includes an intent to commit
another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof."

It can only be a first degree crime if he was intending to commit another crime, or aid / conceal the commission thereof. Otherwise if found guilty merely of the falsification of business records it would be "falsifying business records in the second degree".

So yes the thing he got charged with is a felony that's not in dispute since I am claiming it was ruled that way. The question is what secondary crime was he committing or aiding to commit? Which crime did the jury vote on that they have seen sufficient evidence for? Because to establish the first degree the Jury would need to agree that Trump committed a falsification of business records AND the jury would need to agree on which secondary crime he committed.

Since the judge ruled the first degree ruling there can only be two possibilities, either the judge is corrupt or the jury found a secondary crime. So ill ask again, which secondary crime did they find that proves this is not a corrupt ruling?

Ill let the first one slide since its semantics anyway. I know the answer to the second. The reason you can't tell me is because they didn't find anything. The question posed to the jury was corrupt, it was basically a generic "Did Trump commit a secondary crime, and no you don't have to agree on which crime that was. All you have to agree on is if he did or not". Naturally people in a highly democrat area are afraid of voting no against that and assume he probably did something. But there was no evidence presented of this by which we can judge that, they also didn't pick anything in particular they just voted yes to be done with it.

That kind of jury instruction I find immensely corrupt. You can't convict someone on "something" you have to convict someone of doing something specific. For example "We have sufficient evidence he falsified financial records and we have also seen sufficient evidence that this was done to conceal illegal toxic waste dumping". That would be a clear and genuine conviction on the first degree. But in Trump's case its "We have seen sufficient evidence that he falsified financial records and we believe he probably did something else" and that doesn't fly with me.

So definitely expect this to be thrown out on appeal because they are going to want to see the evidence of what secondary crime was committed and so far they showed nothing.

No the answer to the second is, I'm not a lawyer so I can't answer that other than what I read which is something about how it was to do with the initial charge of concealing payments in conjunction with campaign finance issues. So that might be the second charge you are looking for.

Had they asked "Do you believe that Trump knowingly used this to cover up a violation in campaign finance laws?" and they had voted yes unanimously there would be a clear method by which the jury convicted him. But that's not what happened.
