What do you think about this HERO DOG?

There was a house fire. The owners let their dog loose from his chain so that he could run away from the fire. Instead, he ran back into the burning house and rescued a little kitten.

What do you think? Is this dog a hero?

OMG, I teared-up reading that and seeing the picture! The love that dogs have for their family, or “pack” as they consider it, is so unbelievably heart warming! There is absolutely, and now scientifically proven, no doubt that dogs feel love in the same way humans do! A function MRI was performed on the brain of a dog that had been trained to stay completely still during loud noises. What they saw when they waived a scrap of unwashed fabric from a shirt worn by its owner, was that the area of the brain that lights up in humans when we see a picture of our spouse or children, light up in this dog! He was experiencing love! I believe that was what motivated that dog to risk its own life to save the cat. It loves the cat, because to the dog, the cat is part of its family!

I'd say he's a good dog and give him face rubs. But he probably knew the kitten was in there and wanted to save the baby from it (would the kitten have found their way out on their own? Nobody knows.). It'd probably be pretty gross picking up the kitten since they'd be covered in dog slobber but that can't be helped. The kitten just needs a bath by then. 🧼
