Why or what is the reason for more girls being short/Shorter in most parts of the world? Other than Russians maybe!

Hormones is basically the answer.

Estrogen causes growth plates to fuse faster.

Girls typically start puberty around age 8 and 13 and it lasts 2-5 years. Through this they have many growth spurts regularly. But will stop growing about 2 years after their first menstrual cycle.

Whereas boys typically start puberty between age 9 and 14 again lasting 2-5 years. Boys get growth spurts 1-2 years after the onset of puberty and don't finish growing until about age 16.

So because puberty can be so varied in the speed it can take place, if you had a longer puberty you're more likely to be taller.
