Why are short girls considered unattractive?

I am so insecure about my height. short girls get no love. the tall guys dont want me and go after girls their height. and the short guys no matter how short all want the tall ones. what do i get? my height is such a curse and has been made fun of and i hate myself because of it. i used to be happy with my height now everyone comments and guys want tall girls and its more womanly and i feel horrible.. wish there was a way to be shorter

Wait wait wait. Are you tall or short? Because you're asking whether or not short girls are unattractive (which is false to answer your question), but then you say at the end 'wish there was a way to be shorter'.

Anyway, aside from that confusion, I personally don't mind although girls my height are easier to kiss ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). That's the only advantage, otherwise I don't think a lot of guys will mind hugely.

Of course, maybe it's a cultural thing and it could depend on where you come from etc.

I don't think that's true. It isn't for me. And I don't think people make fun of you they're probably just being friendly teasing but beause of you're insecurity you take it in a negative way. Usually tall guys like short girls so maybe you're looking for the wrong guys or you're in the wrong place. But no matter where you are you should deal with your insecurity.

Please don't judge too fast as not all men are acting that way. There are a lot of guys out there really don't give a damn about how tall their girlfriends are. In fact, that matter have a great effect on men than women. It is normal for a girl to lack some unnecessary centimeters because that's will definitely not going to affect her dating life but for a guy it is definitely matter because girls are so picky when pick up the guy more than how men do I think

There is zero reason to be insecure about your height, when being short is a positive with most guys.

OK, it might be a different there. Sweden has some of the tallest people in the world. What is short in Sweden might be tall everywhere else. So it's all relative.

I have heard this about Sweden before. If it's true, I think it's a Swedish thing and can't really be answered by people elsewhere.

I know what I've seen here at GAG hundreds of times is that men want a woman who is shorter than them. And women want a man who is taller than them. Other than that, most people don't care a whole lot.

Must be a coincidence or where you live because it's quite the opposite for me. I'm instantly attracted to shorter women, just on the height alone. But sadly they seem to all want really tall guys. But I don't know why there's so much focus on height by people, I could care less. It so doesn't matter compared to the type of person they are!

Unattractive? What I most hear from my friends is that they wish they had a short girlfriend, I share their opinion that short girls are very attractive. I think this has a biological background of our ancestors, about that thing of male dominance upon the female (like in wild animals). And don't be insecure about your height, because it might be one of your strong points ;)
