Why is that short girls are considered attractive but short guys are not?

This is the society today that even a womanlet wouldn't want a manlet. It's a curse to be short as a man in this society. Tall guys are considered handsome, short girls are considered cute, tall girls are considered models and here we short guys are considered the most horrible creatures and undateable. Anywhere from media portrayals to the society we've heard that short guys are not masculine.

Girls don't consider us attractive enough and they call it as personal preference but in reality it's a norm. If it was actually a personal preference not above 90% would say the same thing.

What do you think? Don't you think short guys suffer the most but they have to hide it due others calling them bitter otherwise?
