Why are tall girls considered more attractive than short girls?

I'm a short girl and I always feel bad about being short... I always wish I was taller, i so wish there was a way to change my height. guys seem to like tall girls. i have tried pursuing tall guys about 5'10" - 6' but none of them wanted a girl as short as me
Are there any other reasons why we are considered less attractive? also is it true that tall girls have better genes?

I would say is 50/50. I heard different opinions.

Guys who likes shorter girls I heard them say they like the because they seem more fragile or cute, they find that more femenine or make them feel more masculine. Besides many other guys are just shorter and would find difficult to attract a girl taller than them.

Guys who like taller girls would say they like long legs, or that they want a girl they can look to her eyes without having to look down and end feeling a pain in the neck.

Again, we acknowledge that, in Sweden, being short is a disadvantage, but that just means you have to compensate by being more outgoing and fun. That will draw more (positive) attention towards you, and thus the guys who don't really care about height are going to notice you, find you interesting, and will work to get to know you.

No, you're not going to attract EVERY guy - some guys will hold out for a tall girl no matter how good you are - but who cares? You'll still have plenty of guys who like you. Focus on those guys.

Of course you're going to have negative results if you're pursuing men that are 5'10 - 6'0. As a general rule, men want partners that are reasonably shorter than them, and women want partners that are reasonably taller than them.

No. That's not true. Attractiveness depends on many other factors. Taller girls are preferred as fashion models as taller people look good with clothes in general.

Both tall guys as well as the shorter ones prefer short girls for relationships (is what I've observed). There is absolutely no reason why short girls are to be considered unattractive.

It's probably just that they have more confidence and consequently, more presence just because they feel good about themselves. If you manage to keep aside your insecurities at bay and love yourself for who you are and whatever you've got and show your confidence, it'll work wonders!

I have to say I am 5’2” visited Sweden and other Scandinavian countries often and have never had a lack of interest from tall Scandinavian men.
