Why are tall women considered more attractive than short women?

I'm short and I always feel bad about being short... I always wish I was taller, i so wish there was a way to change my height. Men seem to like tall women. i have tried pursuing tall guys about 5'10" - 6' but none of them wanted a girl as short as me
Are there any other reasons why we are considered less attractive? also is it true that tall women have better genes?

You might heard about the expression " the gras is always greener on the other side " , now I'd always bfekt the exactly opposite whil I'm ekstremly tall. And I had a great job finding a guy, and I'm not the shallow picky type at all I'd been dating very short guys and avarage height guys all my life , tall guys just weren't interested bin me afraid I took away the attention the need to live. I'd guess only ones who should really feel bad about height are men , a guy not tall face a rotten life , a life were most girls laugh of them and no one want to date them, before they are grown up

You're wrong to think guys don't like or aren't as attracted to short women. Guys love love love petite women, and I've seen that a lot, even taller guys.
But also, height shouldn't matter so if someone rejects you because you're short then that's not a loss at alll!

Ohhh if you live in a country where most girls are short or tall girls are less common, then that might be a reason. But overall around the world that's not the case, guys adore petite girls. And tbh guys are less picky when it comes to weight than women are. Guys are more ready to date someone taller than them or much shorter than them than women..

No on contrary. I live in Scandinavia, most girls are tall here and even taller girls are more thirsted after. Petite is not liked.

I live in the middle East. Guys here prefer both really, lol, they like petite but they're also into taller girls.
But I've also see a lot of men here from different countries commenting they love petite girls.

I think they are generally considered more 'hot', but calling them more 'attractive' is an absurdity. A person's level of attractiveness is definitely somewhat subject on the part of the eye of the beholder. And worry not, the consensus would also be that shorter women tend to be more 'cute'. Thus ultimately, there is no need to fret, whether you are a tall woman or a short woman - men will like you either way

You can't say that in general , I'm what you'll bcalk ekstremky tall, but my luck is I'm very fit and most will say my look is good too. But even thoug I'd been rejected so many times, by men who were intimidated by my height. Well I know now that they usually were afraid to be rejected them self , a men in general are the real one to be judged by there height, knowing that about 75% of us women gladly will reject every guy under 6' no matter look or wealth. And that's what we talk girls pay the price for. Men who gave been told all life that a guy should be much taller than us girl. Hell a problem I would have if I were looking for a guy much taller than myself I'm 204 cm tall !!!

I don't know how tall. We usually dont ask the girls for their height. I have never heard the short thing for American girls. Small petite though might be a misconception due to the fact that is usually assumed with young and innocent in American porn. It's a big deal over here to have a virgin if you are a guy.

Fist of all, it is a bit cultural. I have seen a bunch of Swedish women who are short and have issues in dating. I am Canadian and I have not seen this here, even short and petite women are popular here. Tall model like women are not unpopular either. Canadian men generally dont care about height.

Well much more men should start to be open about it, as we women do deserve to get the same feeling as men must have felt for generations, the feeling of simply not be tall enough. Well we'd been facing shallow preference on our tits size and weight coular on our hair , but all features possible to changes if it hurt enough, now if a guy tell a little girl she too short , she herself can try how it is to be mental emasculated on somthing impossible to ever change. While she might gladly have demanded a guy to be at least 5-6 inch talker than herself. So I hope we women will finally wake up by the fact men could be just as horrible and evil in the future

Well Germany is big and bee to me, but as I'm Danish and we Danish typically a more short people and height is the very last thing in the world you'll judge a person on, I'd guess we are so well brought up we would never treat people bad for things out of there hands to change. And of cause I should as the very natural thing believe Swedish would have been the same , as judge people on there lack of height is just as bad or even worse than judging on race and coulore , witch I know Sweden is known for not being racistuc and treat people of all ethnicities the same way, so I should think heightism is the same

I'm not at all trying to say short girls are hunted at all, them to feel sad for is once again then guys who NOT are tall they are carrying the burden of all our girls mixed emotions about our own height and look in general and for sure every girl who are too tall or soo thick or too short throw all there insecurity at them, and let them pay the price for our own I security. so all the horror of our body they fall victim to, and the vast majority of us believe that a very tall, or at least taller man, removes all our vain thoughts about our own bodies and sizes

So I think its safe to say you would have the most luck with men that are just slightly taller than you.
