Some original season 1 episodes way back in the 1990s 2000s they showed a few cutaway scenes where "Psyduck inside the Pokeball was just multicoloured rainbow like darkness and Psyduck just standing there in the sphere like an x-ray" 🩻 🌈

And in times when they've shown an empty Pokeball it tends to have mirrors or glass all along the insides of the sphere 🪞 ⭕🔴

Go figure huh? Aye? Eh? Ah well 😁😄👀
