Depending on where you live you might be able to get temporary disability through social security or some state agency, depending on what state you live in. If you live in a red State, you probably can't get anything from the state itself. If you live in a blue state, you probably can.

Just one, I damaged the front part of my truck. It wasn't too bad. The vehicle I hit from behind didn't have any damage to them and their truck and the driver was very nice and understanding.

Car vs. Pedestrian. I was on the short end, ended up with a compound fracture of my right tibia and a huge settlement as I was in the crosswalk with the "Walk" indicator green.

I don’t doubt it. I’ve been in a couple of close calls in which the other driver did something so stoopid that i wonder how they managed to get the license in the first place. Both were in California though. I keep telling myself i must get dashcams.

I hit somebody who was sneaking up on my right during a rainstorm. The first thing she tried to do was flag down witnesses. About a half hour later her boyfriend shows up. This was efore cell phones. How did the boyfriend know where she was?
