Have you ever met a diagnosed psychopath (anti-social personality disorder) in real life? If so, how was it like?

I personally have. It was back in high school. It was this one guy who always had a dead expressionless look in his eyes and generally showed absolutely zero emotion unless he was actively tormenting someone, which he would then give a very subtle smug closed mouth smile. He didn't even laugh while tormenting people, he just sort of gave faint little smile that heavily implied "I am deeply enjoying this, you are worthless compared to me, laughter alone wouldn't sum up how much I'm enjoying this."

He was HELL to deal with. He literally would pick out people's most sensitive points to use against them, other students and teachers alike. Often stuff that wasn't even said in the classroom itself but he literally kept sitting in different places at lunch and in the gym just to eavesdrop on the conversations everyone around him was having and take mental notes to use those things against the people he was eavesdropping on.

Examples could be when this one teacher was crying that both her parents had recently died and had to take some time off work, when she came back and he was disrupting the class and she called him out he just said "oh yeah? at least my parents love me. your parents hated you so much they decided they didn't wanna be on this planet anymore so they could get away from you." And the teacher broke down crying in the middle of class.

An example of a student could be when this other student kept talking to his friends about his insecurity and low self-esteem over his cystic acne, and one day when he and the psychopath guy got into an argument he replied to him "oh yeah? at least my face doesn't look like a pepperoni pizza and I'm not a little bitch who gets hurt over stupid bullshit like that." And the two got in a fight... unfortunately the psychopath won. At least his face was kinda swollen but he didn't seem to care.

So yeah... he was literally EVIL, basically.

yeah she was diagnosed with ASPD which i don't remember why

she struggled with stuff like empathy but understood it and was pretty loyal as long as we were good like it felt petty transactional. oh yeah she was manipulative as fuck at times and was terrible if you wronged her. i was open minded at first but i eventually had to step away from that shit lol they can mindfuck you

I definitely have had a shitty ex, though she wasn't exactly a psychopath like the guy I described in the main post.

She was mainly just extremely inconsiderate and manipulative, but not exactly to the point of being a psychopath. She didn't really go out of her way to intentionally hurt people, but she basically just used people to get what she wanted and didn't care how it made them feel afterwards.

So basically she was CLOSE to a psychopath but not quite. Lol.

Thankfully to make up for that terrible experience I have a very sweet and loving girlfriend now, lol. I'm so lucky to have met her, hehe.

Haha, too stupid to manipulate... but damn. I'd say the violence is even worse. Depending on how much force you use you could end up seriously injuring the other person! And strangling is DEFINITELY something that should be off limits!

For the manipulation thing, yeah, you have to be somewhat smart to manipulate, lol. My ex would act very kind and sweet and make you feel right at home, only to later suddenly discard you. She would quite literally and unironically say to people "yeah I don't really need you anymore. goodbye."

Shit... that's somebody I would absolutely not hesitate to send to life in prison without the possibility of parole, or heck, even the death penalty! Either would be good and fitting.

And yup! She was the textbook definition of a bitch alright, lol. She basically quite literally used people as objects. Like: "this pen that I was using ran out of ink? yeah, I don't need it anymore. I'm throwing it in the trash now. goodbye pen" but with living people instead, lol.

I won't wish life in prison or death penalty upon her, but I just hope she ends up alone with no friends and without a SO, and her family also leaves her. Lol.

In general I often struggle with the difference between a psychopath and a sociopath, lol. Neither are really scientific terms, but both closely refer to anti-social personality disorder or ASPD. The difference between them is not too explicitly clear, lol. They seem to be rather subtle.

But anyway... I get what you're talking about! It's all in the EYES, right? Like psychopaths usually have this really specific dead look to their eyes. Somewhat hard to describe, but eyes that just show absolutely zero emotion. And I don't mean like sad or depressed or tired or sleepy eyes or anything, but just literally 100% emotionless dead eyes.

And these eyes are scary because you never know when they're gonna snap and/or do violent shit. If a person has angry eyes for example at least you can predict it.

TL;DR I 100% get what you're saying. Psychopaths usually have this very specific "dead" look to their eyes. Like eyes with literally absolutely ZERO emotion.

LOL. SAME! Usually in real life people hide their psychopathy better, if not only for the fear of getting punched in the face. But online they don't really have to hide it. The worst they can get is a permanent IP ban from a website.

In comparison in real life they could get beat up so bad they land in a hospital and might have earned several broken bones and several broken teeth. Good luck with those expensive medical bills! LOL!

But yeah. Suddenly the guy in my main post doesn't seem so bad anymore. He loved to torment people a heck of a lot and kept pushing the limits to really make people snap, and he also got into a lot of physical fights since a lot of people couldn't bear his torment anymore... but AT LEAST he never killed someone. Damn!
