ALE—EOU—MINI—EM… I am American born and raised, however my daughter was raised and lives primarily in NSW, Australia. it’s kind of crazy that this question is being asked haha! My daughter and I have a little gamewe have always played where she would try and put on an American accent for the day and I would attempt (and butcher) an Australian accent, one of the most exaggerated and funny ones we’re always:

Aluminium because that is how it sounds in Greek too. So I pronounce it aluminium mindlessly.

I say the ending in English, like i hear it in American language "num".

A doubt is the first part "a-loom" or "a- lyoom" i heard both , and the vowel pattern is lyoom, but the correct way is only "uh- loom - in - um" because that is the common way people say it.

In german you say aluminium and you also write it that way. I think some people just got lazy over time and left out the second i :P

It's spelling, not just pronunciation.

Both are correct. Aluminium is consistent with other elements like potassium, sodium, etc. and is the way most of the world spells it. Americans changed it to aluminum in World War I.
