The logjam of good moments set to music in my brain right nowā¦

Iād say most of them are sports-related, party-related, or lady-related, haha.
I can narrow it down to a few, thatās the closest I can come to āoneā for you😂
My one serious girlfriend in high school, I remember our first date was at a carnival down by the beach in my town. It was overall a good night, but you know how the teenage thing goes, youāre hyped for the next new thing, so it was just extra special in my mind. She was looking REAL good ālike peak mid-90s B-girl with the hoop earrings, and the crop-top with the belly-chain, and the teddy bear backpack, smelling like vanilla perfume and cinnamon gumā and I was feeling like the man, walking around with her on my arm.
Anyway, uneventful portion of the evening, but I have this very vivid memory of us standing by the Gravitron, the spaceship looking thing that spins you around, like a human centrifuge, lmao, and one of my all-time favorite slow jams was playingā¦
https://www.youtube.com/embed/tHS1Yv9ZK0oAnother good one, I went to a friendās Catholic school dance in I think 7th grade, and I made out with some girl while dancing to this hair metal slow jam, lmaoā¦
https://www.youtube.com/embed/5ETENrv8cnUSurprise ending: despite the poetic start, it ended up being a Love Of About A Week And A Half😂😂😂
Wasnāt thinking of this one at first, but should haveā¦this girl I dated in 8th grade, we were on a field trip, and my classmate brought a boom box, lmfao. I had what we primitive humans called a ācassette singleā of a then-popular song (TRAGICALLY forgotten), and my girl and I performed the song in the back of the bus, with her doing the female parts, and the crowd was into it, hahaā¦
https://www.youtube.com/embed/VvYIpa1UlvwAnother good moment was dancing with another gal I saw in my 20s at our collegeās spring concert. Not a monumental event, just another pleasant (and ego-serving😝) memory with a young lady who was good enough to spend a portion of her life messing with my dumb ass, haha. It was also a new thing, and the accompanying buzz with that, and an accompanying buzz from alcohol as well🤪 But that time was early, pre-crazy, still-awesome Kanye, and I just remember my girl putting a little extra something in her hips when it goes 🎶see, you is my new chick, so we get our grind onā¦🎶ā¦.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/w3U_duOw88MAlong a similar line, I have a good memory dancing with another new fling at a party to R Kellyās Ignition Remix, like RIGHT when it first came out and everyone would go crazy when it came onā¦. but thatās probably scrubbed from the internet, lmao.
I keep getting reminded of good times dancing with women😂 This song, and this one girl, at the club on Thursday nightsā¦
https://www.youtube.com/embed/pT1XhnfMT5cAnd I guess I did promise a sports oneā¦my first ever football championship sadly didnāt come until 2010, but it DID happen at the peak of All I Do Is Winās popularity😝

Easily the best partššš
I think it's more of what I'm looking for it's a little bit of the words but it's more of the vibe of the emotion of the tune of the song the music
Have you ever danced to a slow song and just became one in that moment with this person and just got lost in everything the music it's like everything just disappears and you're trying to say this is who I am
And then the song stops I just want to say thank you for the dance lol
To be honest I don't know why I like that song I mean I do but I don't I'll share one more with you

This song here is because I only met my real dad a few times and we never knew each other really and he just passed away here a couple months ago about 3 months ago and the song just kind of something that I should probably said to him
Okay one more LOL

This song in the last song we're both retakes but a little bit different than the original and I just like the song I like The Voice and sometimes I have felt this way before probably
my first partner played and sang it for me when he asked me to be together... it was my fav song at that time, he knew it and performed it for me when we were with friends on the canal bank...
Cause I miss the years when this came out, 2010's. They were some of the best years of my life and things were much more carefree and simple.

"You Raise Me Up," written and originally performed by Secret Garden, but made much more popular by Josh Groban. I sang that song, with a piano and string quartet accompaniment, to my wife at our wedding on April 27 this year.
@exitseven There is a video of the instrumental tracks without the vocal

There is no YT video of me singing at our wedding
@OlderAndWiser somewhere there is a video of me dancing at my wedding. I hope it never sees the light of day.
@exitseven I have a video of my wedding ceremony but not the reception. And about a thousand photos.
Oh, that can be many 90's songs.🤣
Two that remind me of a moment in my life. And I don't want to share what it reminds me of.

I saw these guys perform the night before I met my wife. I was singing it the whole weekend.
hmmmmmmmmmm... this one right here
good times, lol
madness!!
Oh yeah.. 😏
I realized years later the Jamaican theme song.. š..
Borrowed Heaven-The Corrs. It reminds me that everything in life, is a gift, whether good or bad (with some exceptions); which we wonāt have forever and to appreciate and learn what you can from it, while you still can.
It's going to sound silly, but there is a song that was popular when I had my first "real" crush as a teenager. I think of her when I her that song, even though it wasn't meant to be.
Almost any love song,(especially sad ones), can remind me of the perfect girlfriend I had before she passed awayā¦
I used to hate boysband during 90s era as teenager , but now they feel so nostalgic
Like this one
Rod Stewart's "Tonight's The Night" when we were teens and my girlfriend at the time and I were laying on her bed in her bedroom at her parents house and that was the night it happened.
Simple Man... Reminds me of a long lost friend.
This fits quite well:
