The logjam of good moments set to music in my brain right now…

I’d say most of them are sports-related, party-related, or lady-related, haha.

I can narrow it down to a few, that’s the closest I can come to “one” for you😂

My one serious girlfriend in high school, I remember our first date was at a carnival down by the beach in my town. It was overall a good night, but you know how the teenage thing goes, you’re hyped for the next new thing, so it was just extra special in my mind. She was looking REAL good —like peak mid-90s B-girl with the hoop earrings, and the crop-top with the belly-chain, and the teddy bear backpack, smelling like vanilla perfume and cinnamon gum— and I was feeling like the man, walking around with her on my arm.

Anyway, uneventful portion of the evening, but I have this very vivid memory of us standing by the Gravitron, the spaceship looking thing that spins you around, like a human centrifuge, lmao, and one of my all-time favorite slow jams was playing…

Surprise ending: despite the poetic start, it ended up being a Love Of About A Week And A Half😂😂😂

Wasn’t thinking of this one at first, but should have…this girl I dated in 8th grade, we were on a field trip, and my classmate brought a boom box, lmfao. I had what we primitive humans called a “cassette single” of a then-popular song (TRAGICALLY forgotten), and my girl and I performed the song in the back of the bus, with her doing the female parts, and the crowd was into it, haha…

Another good moment was dancing with another gal I saw in my 20s at our college’s spring concert. Not a monumental event, just another pleasant (and ego-serving😝) memory with a young lady who was good enough to spend a portion of her life messing with my dumb ass, haha. It was also a new thing, and the accompanying buzz with that, and an accompanying buzz from alcohol as well🤪 But that time was early, pre-crazy, still-awesome Kanye, and I just remember my girl putting a little extra something in her hips when it goes 🎶see, you is my new chick, so we get our grind on…🎶….

I think it's more of what I'm looking for it's a little bit of the words but it's more of the vibe of the emotion of the tune of the song the music
