I'd take the payments over 20 years. Even though they say that inflation can make it worth less in the future, it's gives a person time to find good investments without having to deal with so much at once. I'm great at saving money, but for someone who might go and blow through money quickly, it's good to know that several more million will be arriving in a few months.
