I think many many people would secretly be tempted. If they are certain nobody would know and they are very poor or in need.
Me personally I couldn't. The thought would be too horrible in my mind to live with and money isn't that important to me.

Now... if it was a choice of killing one stranger to save the lives of people you love? It would cause mental anguish but the justification would be there to do it anyways... ?
