how about would you press the button that when as a westerner you buy an item of clothing in a retail store a child in slave labour dies? even if not die is enslaved like his or her other over two hundred million children? how about when you buy a bottle of water this water is being drained from areas causing environmental damage let alone the plastic bottle ending up all the way to the east where children of three years of age work on rubbish tips to help make money to feed their families?

No. I would absolutely NOT press the button.  In fact, if given such a button I would start constructing some sort of shader proof case around the button so it could never be accidentally pressed.
