Did you ever get scared of someone wearing a unique outfit as a kid?

I just saw a video about a kid that got scared of someones Halloween costume and it reminded me of this thing that happened when I was a kid. I was maybe 6 I don't remember exactly tbh. We were visiting friends of my parents at their little garden where they spent a lot of time. The husband kept bees there and then he said he could show us if he wanted to. He disappeared for quite a while and I was like wondering what he was up to so I told my mom I'd go see when he was coming back. So I left the tables where we were sitting outside they were chatting and drinking coffee or so and I walked to where he had gone and then this huge person in a suit that looked like an alien came towards me I was like WTFFFF. I couldn't see through the net like in this picture and it was a slightly different design. I ran back to my mom in a panic lmao and they had to explain to me that it was actually him in the suit lol.

That reminds me of a UFO incident we had near me in the 70s. There had been a ufo sighting and a few days later Aliens were spotted tramping around a field. The story got mass media attention and even today we get urologists here looking for the "truth"

Thing is everyone here knows it was just a couple of guys from the oil refinery in boiler suits just having a laugh. There was a TV documentary on it a few months ago, the reporter looked gutted when some teen girls broke the news to her.
