How do you AIR DRY drinking GLASSES?

Many of us let the dishwasher wash and dry glasses, but...

When you hand-wash a drinking glass, it has to dry. You can use a towel to dry it, but it's usually easier, and more sanitary, to air-dry the glass.

There are several ways to air dry a drinking glass. What is the typical way you air dry a glass?

This question is prompted by a "discussion" my wife and I often have. She always puts the glass on a mat on the counter, open end down. I don't understand how the glass can dry when no air can get into it, so I always turn it open end up... and then the "discussion" begins. 😏

literally, a couple of minutes outside the window... the sun will UV all over it, problem solved

Open end down in a rack. Problem solved.

Upside down on a rack. Unless it's a wine glass I don't see the point of polishing them.
