6.3K opinions shared on Other topic. I predominantly drink mineral water (*). That said, I will drink normal tap water if, for instance, I am making a broth. (During cold weather, I often make a chicken broth using Better Than Boullion, tap water, and a cut-up green onion. Mix and put in the microwave for 3.5 minutes...)
(*) Perrier, Topo Chico, San Pellegrino, Gerolsteiner, etc...
I primarily drink Topo Chico, but usually save those for my wife. ALDI has a low-content mineral water from Italy (it's really La Galvanina) and I drink a lot of that because it is cheaper. However, when I can get it, Gerolsteiner; it's fantastic and a high mineral content mineral water. Mineral water is one of the best things you can drink. It can make you feel fantastic. But, it's not cheap because mineral water has to be "bottled at the source" which means it has to be shipped to stores. So, for instance, San Pellegrino genuinely comes from Italy; it is bottled there and transported to the US and everywhere else. Same with Perrier from France, La Galvanina from Italy, and Gerolsteiner from Germany, and Fiji water from Fiji, etc.11 Reply

7 moI drink tap water with no filter. I've only lived one place where you literally could not drink the water. That was ground water in a valley where all the minerals accumulated in the bowl. It was more salty than ocean water. Where I live now the tap water is pretty clean.

That's what's up I guess lol
1.1K opinions shared on Other topic. I use Britta filter to filter out tap water, mostly lime and iron. Espresso machine I use has inbuilt water filter. Tap water in my city has mineral water quality, it's from sources 300m+ deep and this water is 120 million years old, from Cretaceous time. This water is chemically clean but contains lot of lime compared to so called surface ground waters.
In summer I buy sometimes mineral water in glass bottles, It cost a little bit more and it's heavier than plastic, but it doesn't contain pastinators from PET plastic and it's has much more Carbon dioxide because glass is much more pressure resistant.11 Reply- 7 mo
So you filter your water like a water plant type shit lol

7 moUsed to drink from the tap which was city water. no need filter.
now we have well water, they use some kind of salt from Home Depot … so I stopped drinking it.when the weather is nice, we fill our jugs from the mountain spring … about 20 minute drive. We go every 2 weeks. The water is fresh and crisp.
winter time, 2 months or so, we buy from the store.14 Reply- 7 mo
So you legit get spring water from the mountains, that's wild, you should sell it
- 7 mo
No it’s a secret place that hubby found online… there are only a few who goes so we just keep it that way.
Don’t want to sell stuff. Just enjoy natural stuff. - 7 mo
@jahaims agree. I am
Clueless about all that stuff. I lived in the city over 30 years and have always used city water.
We are in the suburbs now. The house has a well. We have a filter. We also have something in the boiler room that they add “salt” to soften the water.
I don’t like the way it tastes. So I stop using it for drinking.

7 moI have a 9L (2.3 gallon) water filter dispenser in my fridge. It's been pretty great and it was only $45 (in comparison the Brita 8.5L one is $85)

Do you give this water to your plants? Is the water you give them even effective in their growth or yield?

At Work. At home I drink filtered water from my refrigerator & at work we have filtered water fountains.
10 Reply - 3.8K opinions shared on Other topic.
7 moAt home, a water filtration system provides the clean drinking water that also gets filtered through the refrigerators that also have their own filters.
At my various offices away from home, they're mostly filtered as well through the refs and the through smaller filters installed under each sink.
In public, especially when traveling, I usually ask for mineral water or whatever bottled drinking water is available.

m 7 moCarbonated mineral water (and yes, it's real, you can visit the well and fill bottles yourself) or sometimes tap water (it's of high quality). My former employer had a carbonation machine to provide carbonated tap water to everyone, that tasted really good.
10 Reply 2.7K opinions shared on Other topic. I drink unfiltered water from my well out of the tap. I have two 1 liter bottles that I keep filled and drink from them throughout the day. One sits next to my chair in the living room, and one goes with me to my car. I drink at least one liter per day.
That, plus I add some powder called CardoMiracle to about 2/3 of a liter of water and drink that first thing in the morning. And I make 24 oz of coffee.11 Reply
7 moFilter water. We fill our water bottles which stays in kitchen and this huge glass jar which sits in the middle of dining table with a silver cup chilling beside it and then drink out of that.

Drink out of the silver cup or out of the filled bottles? 🤔
- 7 mo
If in dining room then silver cup or otherwise we keep a filled water bottle in all rooms.

7 moMost of my water pipes have been installed by me since I've lived here. I drink some bottled water, but tap water is fine. No filters. My city's water tastes good.
13 Reply- 7 mo
Well your pipes are probably clean but what about the pipes in the land you live in? I don't think they change the pipes constantly anywhere do they
- 7 mo
No. They have been changing them in the city because out pipes around town are in the 100 year old age. They've been doing it regularly. Old cast iron is sturdy, but it rusts out eventually, And there are lead pipes around.
I've done what I can to my home. I can still feel all my fingers and toes and my IQ is pretty high. Emotionally, I'm a mess, but you can't have everything!!! ahahahahahaha - 7 mo

7 moWe have a water filter on the refrigerator, where I fill up my 30oz Stanley water jug and finish it during the day. I also drink other things during the day: coffee, cold tea, Gatorade.
12 Reply- 7 mo
I'm not sure that's enough water for the full day, the average person should be drinking 7 cups a day I think 🤔
- 7 mo
As I said, water is not the only thing I drink. I stay hydrated.
12.2K opinions shared on Other topic. I have a water filter in my refrigerator. My town has really good water anyway. There is a spigot at the town barn and people from other towns come by and fill their jugs.

7 moIt's common practice and obviously safe to drink tap water here, country wide I'd say? So I'm curious about @alice55 opinion now lol, by gross you mean unhealthy?
It's so common for me that I can't instantly wrap my head around the concept of an unsafe tap water when I'm abroad, especially in western countries, it's so unexpected lol

A high quality bottled water is supervised by the the public of health ministry, also it's verified and has an iso quality management certificate and after all when you drink the water, you will be able to tell by tasting it that it's a premium water
- 7 mo
So they can't just lie and filter normal tap water? Lol
