Recent studies have found microplastics accumulating in brains. These microplastics are released from regular plastic. Drinking water from plastic bottles can put a lot of microplastics in your blood which is somehow crossing the body's blood/brain barrier and getting into people's brains. Straight from the tap, unfiltered. Our municipal water system is very good here. At our family's lake place, we have a whole home filter so the water that comes out of the tap is filtered as well (although it passes all of the required testing straight from the well)
