EVs are an alternative to gas-powered vehicles. But they are not the answer to all the world's problems. They are expensive, have limited range, and take much longer to recharge than a trip to the gas station in a gas-fueled vehicle.
Yes, they reduce pollution while driving, but consider the pollution caused during their manufacture: mining lithium, making batteries, larger and heavier tires. And the huge amount of electricity that needs to be generated to power them. Finally, they wear road surfaces faster (EVs are so much heavier than conventional vehicles) requiring more frequent road repair and resurfacing.
I prefer hybrids, a good compromise between EVs and gas-fueled vehicles. So does Toyota, the world's largest vehicle manufacturer.
The shape is not bad. But its range sucks in the winter and the price sucks even more. But they have set a pretty high standard in the ev market
Would you say very wealthy people buy this car?
Not really no. These are some of the most common cars in my city. With financing plans people can drive them with monthly payments. It is considered luxury brand yes. But depending on the region in one lives determines wealth or not

The comedic value is great.
It looks alright. I'm just generally not a fan of Tesla styling.
I'm sure EVs in general are alright though.
I used to hate it
It's fine... I like fuel engines more than EVs for other reasons.
Its a great looking car..
Would you say rich people buy it, what is the target audience
it's nice but looks expensive
Too expensive.
Is it for rich people?
Some are. But if you compare the Tesla models to models of other brands, the Tesla is on the upper end of the price range.
So why pay 10k extra when you got 5 or 6 similiar options. That also get me from A to B.
Its the same with Iphone, i could pay 1500€ for an iphone or 300€ for a Samsung. Both can do the same stuff.
Douchiest car on the planet
