Could he do another match or is his time over in the ring?
I was looking for you when I got home from watching the fight at Buffalo wild wings and there was no freezing or any problems at all on their feed. But you weren’t on that night so I had to answer the other Mike Tyson questions. It was real disappointing. He only had like one round then it turned into Jake Paul was pursuing Mike Tyson and he would kind of stand in a place Tyson and move around, but he wouldn’t get on the attack mode and I didn’t understand why he’s not that old and he looked a lot better in soaring and hitting the Mits then he did in the actual fight then everybody talked about it was a scam. He was paid to lose to get paid &100 million Mike Tyson there’s even an article on Facebook about it. I can find it for you if you want so I don’t know what’s going on with Mike Tyson. You know how he needs money for him and his children so nothing surprises me, but at first, I would never expect something like this from him that he could be bought. I even heard something from somebody saying that he wasn’t allowed to throw uppercuts that everything was written out in a contract, they even showed a video where Mike Tyson and him were in a clinch and he started patting him on the arm Tyson like they were communicating and I heard it first Jake Paul was telling him to take it easy. But in the actual fight, it just looked like Jake Paul was carrying him, not trying to knock him out,. But there seems like there’s something rotten and didn’t mark. I don’t know why Mike Tyson would throw a fight and tarnish his legacy. When he had the exhibition fight with Roy Jones, he looked a lot better, so there might be something going on
The second photo.
Ask yourself, why?
Why don’t YouTubers who are “good” at boxing not fight an actual Pro in their prime? Answer: They know they’ll loose also won’t get as many views.
Getting an ‘elderly’ boxer past their prime and having them fight against a ‘younger’ & more ‘energetic’ champion spells bad news for them and evens the playing field.
Don’t watch these matches and these matches were seemingly go away once they stop being profitable, marketable, and sensational. Very easy concept to grasp.
Most likely for hype and publicity of how many spectators would go to watch it being it was Mike Tyson who has been known for years as a big name and attraction, he was gonna sell out the stadium and people coming to see him fight along with the people at home paid for the Netflix subscription to see him fight live. At his expense, Jake wanted to make big money with this and benefit.
But Mike is almost 60 and is too old to fight in that sport now. He should live the rest of his life now to see his grandkids one day.
But even Tyson could’ve dusted him if he could if not for the clause of the contract to not hurt each other but I agree, Jake should and need to fight somebody who is around his age and a real boxer - not an old, washed up retired MMA fighter or basketball player turned boxer to simply wash away and beat. I mean a real young, hungry, and powerful boxer to make a name for himself to be taken serious,
@Oliverlogan263 Exactly.
Mike didn't have to prove anything at this point. Jake is still new to the game of boxing, and he's got a lot to prove. Mike is also 58; just him going out there onto the ring is respect worthy, in my opinion.
He's so old and looked tired like he should have been home in bed drinking a cup of sleepy time tea ☕️
Right 😂😂😂😂😂😂 he looked tired and disappointed himself when he made his way to the ring. He looked like an old man in there, his days in the ring are over with and should be at home to see his grandkids

Look at the way he fought vs the way he trained. Also look at how many punches he pulled, and how terrible Paul's guard was.
Tyson could have killed him in the ring. He did it for the money, for his children and family.
I think it was a classic examr of losing the battle to win the war.
*example
It was in the contract that I supposed stated they weren’t gonna hurt each other and pretend to make it look real, a lot of openings I saw Tyson could’ve wobbled Jake out on his feet and would've knocked him out or down but Tyson held back but after the round 1 and 2, Tyson was already tired and Jake could’ve went for the kill to knock Tyson down for good cause at Mike’s age, his brain can’t afford to take hard hits from somebody younger so Jake held back too.
He most likely did it to show his kids what his old man looked like in the ring back in the day but he gotten too old for it - Jake might’ve won the battle but mike was the one who won the war to stand on his feet the whole time and didn’t fall down once
I think he did it bc he needed the money for his family
yes he is very old at this point and also sick and broken in many physical aspects. but you could still clearly see this was a paid for result. like there so many openings for him to just freely swing at jakes face and he just didn't take them even tho he was clearly quick enough to do that in other situations. he would have won this fight but got paid for his legacy and his dignity and some of the interviews after the fight reflect that indirectly. like nobody even had a bruise at the end of the fight. you can't tell me this wasn't staged.
Anyone who believes that mike had really lost to jake paul is an idiot 😄
Anyone who knows in boxing would have realized that it's staged and fake but in the end people saw mike fighting in the ring one more time and he earned a good 20 million dollars from this match and about his reputation, i guess he was clear when he said that he wasn't ashamed of what he did and believes that he's still good!
If it was a real match, tyson would of knocked out jake paul from the 1st round, even he's 58 and jake is only 27, jake is only a clown 🤣🤣
I’ve been hearing his knees were having trouble going into the fight, so with the lack of power and being 58 his explosiveness and cardio just isn’t there anymore.
The fight was free on Netflix and the undercard was solid, so no real complaints. I’d watch another Tyson fight but I’m not expecting explosive knockouts anymore after this and the Sugar Ray fight.
I think it's a shame that a scumbag YouTube took advantage of the financial desperation of a senior citizen.
Right, I was like he should ashamed to get in there and fight a near 60 year old man. Fight somebody his own age who would've gave his ass a real fight and run for his money for real. A REAL BOXER. Who is around the same age as him, hell I would’ve gotten in there if I got into training and in fighting shape… I’d get in there and kick his ass
I'm hearing mixed things about it.. Either Jake Paul was holding back from an old Mike Tyson, and that Mike was just holding on for 8 rounds, or that Jake was begging Mike to make him look good.. I think they both were just getting paid..
Yes, they were both holding back bruh but I watched it and was hoping Tyson was gonna get him out at the first round and Jake’s ass kept running away when Tyson would strike, he said he would fuck Tyson up or didn’t feel the punches when he felt it by Tyson … he sure was running away from him when Tyson was coming at him even as an old man. Both of them got paid each, they came and sold out for the stadium. It’s a win more for Tyson to get in there at his age to do what he could
Yeah, that makes sense.. I figured that they were both just basically tapping each other enough to make it look real.. I honestly think it was more of a scam for them to both get that money.. LOL.. They hyped it up and played on the fact that Jake Paul is disliked enough by the public that people wanted to see Mike knock his blonde curls back.. Only for it to be basically rounds of them play fighting.. LOL.. But yeah at least Mike showed that he still had something in him.. But nah he needs to quit.. He's wasn't in that good of shape by the end. I seen an article that there's another boxer that's younger looking to challenge Jake Paul.. I think his name was Andre Ware..
That’s all it was to make it look real but not actually hurt one another I guess in the clause of their contract when this was made. Jake Paul need somebody his own age and is a real fighter, not all ex mama fighters or basketball player turned boxers… I mean a real boxer if he is interested to make a name for himself. I could’ve gotten in the ring with him, he’ll I’m in my early 20s but I’m not in fighting shape at the moment 😂😂 and ima need some training cause without that, my ass getting beat and I’m gettin winded with my ass on the canvas saying save me Jesus 😂🤣🤣 for $20 million dollars? SHIIIII I’ll get all those people a real good damn fight and get heir moneys worth forreal lol.
Jake Paul did his part and played it perfectly that had people dislike so much enough so bad that they wanted iron mike knock him out so bad, but it was all a mirage and got to waste money to pay to watch it for money to go into their pocket. If wasn’t for the contract, mike would’ve kicked his ass far beyond yonder into the next year if he landed an uppercut when he had an opening during the match but Jake ran away and mike held back at last moment. It was almost like mike was fighting instincts not to.
I agree, Mike need to give it up. His boxing days are over. It’s not the 80s and 90s anymore, he has nothing to prove and he’s a legend known worldwide. But he’s an old man now and need to be at home to have his grandchildren. Mike shown by his physique he was in great shape, but physically he really wasn’t and his body can’t take too much hits from a young guy at his age.
Andre Ware, yeah that was the cat who was on one of the panels from the event that night he might’ve if he went left for Paul knock Tyson down but nah, Jake would get major backlash if he did.
in amazing shape to go the distance, is a win.
he could keep fight. But then again, we don't know how much pain he is in or recovery. recovery time is so long at this age.
I give my hats off to mike for lasting all the way to the need and didn’t get knocked down with the hits Jake threw at him, most people his age would've fell out just from a few light taps. The man suffered an ulcer and had drug/alcohol history through many years abusing with. It’s a lot he put through on his body and recovery does a lot longer at his age is right
The whole thing was a media circus, to make money... and to test whether Netflix can livestream to millions of customers... it failed!
Netflix ass was shitty the whole night saying they were prepared but they failed multiple times with the buffering and knowing how big of a name and attraction mike Tyson was, people was watching to see him and it culminated with the whole live-streaming that was messing up the whole time - I had to turn my devices off I had to try to still watch it on tv and exit in and out but still nothing
You could tell Mike wasn’t going as hard as he could have. I know he is 58 but if you watch him training he had way more energy and way better balance and much faster punches as well a great dip and dodge game. Something was fishy in that boxing match. Smells kinda like money was involved aka rigged. Or Mike is just that old now, we will never know
Media bs because Tyson is a legend and could've murdered the guy. Team Tyson forever
He had such opening that I seen looking back but he held back some and Jake also but mike could’ve but mikes legs barely was there and his age caught up with him. He’s old now and can’t do it like he used to no more. If it was 1980s mike, it would've been a lot worse.
And Jake’s ass kept running away
For a man Mike's age I think he did amazing
He did, he lasted til the end which is admirable that I take my hats off to him.
He is severely brain damaged from his 50+ pro fights, old age, 20 years of marijuana, he nearly died 5 months ago and has a knee problem and could barely walk into the ring. Skip Hall at 61 years old fought Dan Severn who was 58 but they did not have the problem he has. The fight starts at 3:14
https://www.youtube.com/embed/Q-7oTyKnJWAIt was rigged, you can see him hold back in the fight
I know, it was for the money is all and wanted to give us a show
Damn it got taken down, it's definitely rigged
It's a video of Mike holding his punches clearly you see him push for a punch but he pulled back, it was compared to his training which was monstrous so it's clear it was rigged
Mostly now that Instagram is taking things down
Yea I know, you can see they both were holding back, but I guess in some ways I can't say I wouldn't do the same, in his late 50s, too old to really keep that career much longer, reaching time of retirement, i can see how a 20 million dollar stain can be acceptable, mostly if he lost his passion for that career, his record really wouldn't help him in whats left of his life, 20m will assure he lives comfortable for the rest of it.
The only thing that's fucked up about it is that people paid to watch that and they got an unfair fight
I don't think so either, I don't know if you saw that video of him after a fight saying he's lost his passion and motivation for the sport and that he didn't want to do it anymore, I think he had a whole mindset change and he didn't want to be known as a violent monster or something
Yea I guess an opportunity like this for a man in his 50s isn't everyday, some would say its a mike tyson opportunity cause what man in his 50s would get that opportunity
Oh well that's good lol
I think I heard of it but not sure lol
Oh yea I remember that, it caused a lot of controversy if I remember correctly lol
Set up..
The young guy could have knocked him out round 2 , easy for sure , but he wanted to milk it.
All I know is I was annoyed at the bar with the livestream from Netflix
Right it was pissing me off that night too. I thought it was the Wi-Fi in my home when I was watching and it kept acting up all night but it was actually of how many viewers were attaching live about millions of people watching it was that I knew and realized why it kept buffering
Now they want to livestream beyoncè on Christmas they just want to break our TVs at this point lmao
Lawd they gon need to get their shit together before that either happen cause you know everybody gonna wanna see Beyoncé since everyone knows her. lol, nah they want our TV’s to absolutely crash and take our money that’s their scheme 😂😂😂
He looks a lot older, compared to his younger self in the picture and even looks much older than me and I’m his age, The only thing I noticed with all their ages, my stamina is not as good, but I’m still just as strong
I would say his performance was BRILLIANT!
He cleared a cool $11 in a few minutes for doing nothing.
How can you do better than that?
That should be $11 MILLION!
Excuse me, but Tyson looks kinda chubby in the above photo.
Which side from the pic?
I never saw it even thought I tried to watch. Netflix just wouldn't load it.
It was like this
He's retired. He can't. He did well for an old man.
Didn't watch, I thought Tyson would murder Paul. All my friends that watched said it was phoned in and shit.
Honestly so embarrassing for Jake Paul lmao Fighting an old man… What a low- life

>>>>>>
It's scripted. Every punch was perfectly choreographed. It wasn't a fight it was a ballet.
His time was already over 20 years ago.
he looked his age
beating up a old dude really dude
I heard it was rigged
Rigged , but he made Millions for it
Total joke, but glad Mike was paid.
His time in the ring is done.
Nah.
Totally fake.
