as part of the natural aging process no one will be able to perform at the level that they could when they were younger.
It doesn't matter how much you work out, want you do, it just happens to all of us.
I can't kick ass like I used to when I was in my prime, but I am still in very good shape and while I am still a force to be reckoned with, I now rely more on my knowledge vs brute force.
However sometimes you just need to bash the crap out of something, so while I still can do that, just not as quickly as I could in my younger days, I have younger guys on my truck that I can give the honors to, and I point to where I feel the applied force should be applied to achieve the best and most satisfying results.
So, the job still gets done, I have passed the torch, in this case the maul to someone else and show them how it should be done.
Being a truckie is great, we do all the work so the engine company doesn't have to mess up their manicures, so they look good on camera.
While Mike Tyson remains a formidable and skilled boxer, replicating his peak performance from the late 80s might be challenging due to factors such as age and the toll of time on the body. Tyson's physical abilities may have naturally diminished, affecting speed and endurance. However, his experience, technique, and power could still make him a formidable competitor. Tyson's 2020 exhibition bouts demonstrated his enduring prowess and boxing acumen. Nevertheless, expecting him to perform at the exact level of his prime may be unrealistic, but his continued success showcases his enduring talent and adaptability in the sport.
I feel he still has so. e power & speed but if he was to go against someone in his weight class, he'd lose. He might hold his own for a bit though. I don't think he's done for, I just don't know if he'd be a contender in his weight class
@Iron_Man It’s neat to see him in training on YouTube sparring but he will not be making any big splashes in the ring. He is clearly much slower than when he was young and he will gas much faster than before. By normal people standards he is terrifying but by heavyweight boxing standards he is old and slow.
He is 57, so I’m not sure unless he is still physically fit to go the distance.
@MsBell2018 Just a single round? I think he can easily do that. If we start talking about 10 or 12 round fights then I can see potential complications due to his age. He’s 57
@Iron_Man I believe Oliverlogan263 is referring to Tyson being 57 years old, not 5'7" tall
@Oliverlogan263 yes Sweetheart, I think he could spar a while but agree with you he wouldn't make it 10-12 rounds-especially with a younger warrior in his weight class. 😘
He can still identify as woman as be a world champion

Skill wise, yeah probably, that is if he kept up with his boxing.. Speed and power wise.. Nah.. He's definitely not in his prime anymore.. It's just that his prime was supreme, so anything after is still good.. He does seem to still be in top top condition..
I doubt at the exact same level. But I watched a documentary or something about his short lived “fight club” where mostly white guys wanted to box him and he kept knocking them out.
Im guessing the distributor didn’t have the insurance needed.
Obviously not , but I sure he is still one hell of a dude , for sure , he will have lost some speed.
I wouldn't want to box him, but that said, I don't think he would hold up in the ring with professional boxers 20+ years younger.
Age catches up to us all, kiddo.
I doubt Arnold could bench press as much as he did in the 80's either.
He’s been irrelevant since he went to jail outside of mockery which still bothers me. He came out insane and was never the same. Had he not gone to jail he’d have killed Holyfield but once he got out he was damaged goods.
Holyfield would have ALWAYS beaten Tyson;he was a better boxer and not afraid of Tyson, as most of his early foes were.
OF COURSE NOT !!! Dude will be FIFTY-EIGHT June 30.(He can still be Jake Paul's punk a**, though.)
Like pretend the last 35 years never happened? Are you kidding me? Even if he stayed in shape time takes a toll on the human body.
No but he still has got the same power and has a punchers chance he’s still pretty fast
Ofc not, the man is almost 60 years old now.
of course not he's 30 years older wtf
no but he is still a force of nature.
no
not at that age
Not as fast but the strength yes
Prob not, but he has the skill for it
Not at his age
If he could, wouldn’t he be doing it?
No. But I wouldn’t want try to fight him either…
nope.
