Neither my high school nor my undergrad university had football teams. I was too busy during grad work to pay much attention. At my current university, I enjoy football. We are a small school in a small league, but our football team is always in the running to win the championship. It’s exciting.

Australia , especially Victoria AFL football is more than a religion , there are teams everywhere , local to the very top , which is now a National competition. We even have a USA dude playing for Collingwood now.
Our school produced some guys who played at the very top level.

Thank God I did not. I really dislike football. I really hate football. The game depends on the exploitation of young men who then sustain brain injuries and other injuries that are disabling in the end. Most importantly, people who play football have a high incidence of CTE which is not treatable in any way and ruins their lives as they get older. I don't see anything to like about the so-called sport.
Both high school and undergraduate schools had football teams. High school teams were mediocre, to poor, up until after I graduated, and then they won the City Series.
College teams were also mediocre.
I wish. I grew up and went to college in Big 10 country. However, I didn't go to a Big 10 school... so our football team 🏈 was... not good.
I went to FIU they have a football team and small on campus stadium. I went to quite a few games while I was a student. Unfortunately attendance is usually low, the University of Miami takes the most of the football fans.
I'm a UMKC grad. UMKC does not have a football team.

Yes, the largest division in Indiana. When I was going there it was regular for guys to get rides to Notre Dame and other big schools. Ine In my class made it to the NFL, and played.
We had a big team called Ringgold Rams
My high school was, even though our team was probably the worst in the entire state. We couldn't even win a regional title
No, football up in the northeast isn't that big, hockey is though.
It wasn’t a really big school for it but I went to the same college that Colin kaepernick went to had a few classes with him.
For a small town it was a big deal. Parades, floats, homecoming etc.
nah. our football team almost never won a game, but they tried to make them a big deal. Wrestling is what we were actually famous for.
