No, we would get together on the weekend at the park and play. Usually against people from neighboring town which was rivals anyway. We did that through our twenties. Just a lot more drinking going on too…. We played shortfall into our thirties. We formed a slow pitch league and a local liquor store sponsored us….

I never stopped playing sports. I think I play more now than I did in high school. Football just changed from tackle to touch though.

AFL for us or course , No it wasn't but it was soon to be , I was attacked on field and knocked out on the half back line , I'd already started taking my golf pretty seriously and I didn't want to put that at risk , I missed the team sport element , but considered it best I stopped playing footy , it was a different era with only one umpire , a good decision I think.

No. But I also didn't play football on a team. I have played flag football with friends but stopped when they all got ridiculously out of shape lol. I did however have epic highschool gym football games that were so much fun lol. My gym teacher wanted me to play football but I was more interested in hockey.

Sometimes, I still get a game in. I’ll get some notions together who are stupid enough to play football at almost 30 and it gets pretty rough. Haven’t played football as part of a team since before high school.

I played American football a few years back. It was American football and then a return game of rugby. Explaining no body protection or helmets was a fun conversation lol.

I wasn't on the football team. My brother and I beat up a few of the guys on the football team over the years because they were bullies. I'm sure the coaches wouldn't have liked me beating up more of their players.

No, after graduation we got a group of friends together to play football in a park. Of course we were a little drunk so we played tackle football without pads. Was the first time I gave someone a concussion 🤕

Yes. Sophomore year in fact, because I was hit by car before junior year before the season started and compound tibia fracture are not good when one plays DB.

we had alumni games as fund raisers, odd year grads against even year, i played the first five years, when they discontinued the event the odd team was undefeated, with two ties, it was before overtime
