Although I sometimes have to put work in first place if an important assignment comes up and the pay is good.

to be able to help and support my loved ones... or simply be there for them... I need to take care of myself first
I have the freedom to create my working hours so I can prioritize my people over my work

I'd say there is an appropriate work life balance though. My work provides, my needs do get met, my family time is spent (maybe not enough)
