That's like asking how did words come into any language, easy they wrote and said it therefore so did others.
Of course the more famous you are as a writer or speaker the more words are influenced more by you. But their words come from words that already exist or alike, so it's not much of a change the normal.
The same way new words today take hold, people hear them and use them in their everyday life. We pick up new words all the time.
Also just because Shakespeare was the first to record them doesn't mean they weren't already in common use.
