This is hilarious to me. Great and fun question. So when I was a kid in 1985 I remember thinking 1955 (referring to back to the future) thought that 30 year difference was like 130 years lol. For many of my younger colleagues they think the 90s are the way I thought about the 50s. I clicked already because my younger 20ish colleagues think it is so long ago already. They don't understand how I was born in 1979. They keep saying how are you 45? As if that's 95 haha. I am really enjoying this part of my life.

Baby Boomers are their own generation. Boomer's children are Millennials, which are people that grew up in the 80s and 90s and started graduating high school at the turn of the millennia. The 90s will never be Boomerish. Baby boomers are getting old and starting to pass away at this point, not adopting their children's culture.

Some boomers had Gen x kids. We're forgotten about. We were born mid to late 70s. We're technically Gen x.

I would give it another 20 years. The same we might look upon the 1940s and 1950s nowadays. It probably comes down to the decades our grandparents and/or parents grew up in.

Every decade has its good things and those will be remembered most: music, films, design, architecture, even cars... you name it.

Isn't it already getting that way? Anyway, the term "boomer" only refers to those born between 1946 and 1964, because that's when there apparently was a "boom" in births across the Western world.

I'll say 2040s or 50s because I feel like 90s nostalgia has only really just started being more widespread it was 80s nostalgia for most of my life in tv shows and music. So I think 90s early 2000s nostalgia will still last for a while :)
