Are you nervous pumping air into Car tires/tyres at gas station/fuel station?

I for one think it's a little scary, the pressure, the pressure to get the right recommended PSi, and so forth. And the rare risk it could explode or just plain vale sticks / overinflated / wrong setting ) or final destination malfunction "just my luck" sigh scary 👻 💀☠️

I discovered, they are too expensive because the time is so short, they shut off before checking all your tires so you must pay twice. Furthermore, one time Walmart took the money but machine didn't work. Moreover, to ask for my $1.00 back, there was a long line that I was not willing wait through for $1.00. Instead, I purchased a $20+ car air pump that operates off the car battery.

I keep it in my trunk which is far more convienent then looking for an air pump at some gas station; let alone if you have a slow leak and your tire is too low to drive to some air pump station or to some place to have the flat or low tire fixed.

Why would I find it scary... I know the correct pressure and I know how to read a pressure gage.

Nope the PSI recommendation is on the side of the door and even if for some reason it's not there, you can always search it with the car brand year and model.

I mean there would be display of how much pressure there is in the tyre right?
For me i would always keep around 30-35 psi

I'm thinking thing gets stuck, nozzle keeps pumping - i shouldn't be so fear 😨 worried lol 😆 it's not that bad I just mean I'm like a nervous Nelly happily by nature. Like sudden noises spoook me lol

Wtf? Have you ever seen a tire exploding from such a tire pump? I somehow doubt that is even possible.

If you find the pressure in car tires nerve wracking, try filling up bike tires. They take in about double the bar/psi of a car tire.
