NO I Do Not.
I Usually Wait Until The Tire Is FLAT To Take Action.
My Vehicle Tells Me The Tire Pressure.

Nah all of my cars always have told me when the tire pressure was low so one of those would be pointless
As for my vehicle it tells me however it doesn’t tell me much.
Hopefully your vehicle tells you how much air is in the spare & if you don’t have a spare I hope you have good cellphones reception & a good battery & roadside assistance.
I have a halo device that measures and self pumps if pressure is not right. My Mom and probably a QVC purchase from awhile ago. Halo is a carry size battery for all electronics etc…. Blow up a soccer ⚽️ ball etc with it too.
It’s like it’s an all in one & those come in handy as well.
Yes. Mine is similar to this
That looks like a really good one & mine is a cheapie however it works.
Yes, it is intended for the trucking industry.
It looks like it goes to about 80psi & I like it.
Yes, but the one in your pic is a crappy one.

Mine is like this one and it works like a charm.
I have the two dollar deal or crappy one as you say & I did buy a more expensive one & it works like $hit.
Mine was pretty darn cheap and it works good.
My spare tire needed air & I used a manual bicycle pump this afternoon to top it off & my gauge came in handy.
Get a compressor that plugs into your DC/cigarette lighter socket. Sweet.
Absolutely! I totally need a compressor & I had a good workout with my bike pump.
I keep a compressor in my car and a jumper battery.

No, but that's because I check my tire pressures monthly at home, topping them up with my compressor. Given that, I've not had a need to check them on the go.
Good deal on the compressor & topping it off even better.
I did in the 80's but now my car just has this annoying dinging sound when the pressure gets too low and Valvoline will fill them back up for free. Friendly tip
Knock on wood my vehicle is ding free & if TPMS detects low or high tire pressure a light on my dash flashes & if it annoys me I learned how to shut the system down.
Of course. I carry a tool box in my car. It's come in handy many times in my life, either for my own car or someone I see broken down on the highway.
It’s always better to be safe than sorry & a tool box always comes in handy. At for keeping a tire gauge, well done. Jumper cables too.
Yes, jumper cables too. I have some good ones. I used them within the last year, but I don't remember what for.
In the cold winter I used to carry a good winter sleeping bag. The kind rated at well below zero. I never used it, but before I carried it I had broken down in remote places before and gotten pretty cold. It wasn't dangerously cold, but it was cold enough to see the potential danger of being stuck somewhere longer term in the cold.
I did an experiment once. The car was parked north-south. I measured the tire pressure throughout the day as the sun moved from one side to the other. I forget the exact difference in pressure, but there was several pounds difference from side to side as the sun moved across.
Even before that I always tried to measure the pressure when the tires were cold and in the shade. It's well known that the pressure increases as the tires heat up while driving. But I was surprised by how much difference just the sun made.
I carry my own with me the whole time...

The hit it or kick it test & I always wondered why truck driver did that.
because those are 18 wheels... they would have to check on, time is money... fuel is money
so when one tire is failing, it is carried by all others... thumping on truck's tires might give you an idea of it way quicker
Absolutely & from safety to saving money & at the cost of fuel saving money is what it’s all about.
Good old Tire thumper, I just usually kick the tires since I’m wearing work boots and looking for any sidewall swell on the steering tires
My truck has a tire monitor system in it. I do have a tire pressure gauge In my garage I use every time I swap my winter & summer tires out though. Also if a tire looks low I will check it with a gauge.
Stars to you my friend & for keeping a tire gauge as well.
my main truck and motorcycle have TPMs in them, my classic cars do not, but I check the regularly.
I have a pretty extensive garage set up in my house.
6 car plus with a lift.
That is really cool to have a lift & as for those classic cars do you go to shows & show them off?
Yes, as well as a tire tread measuring tool and some other emergency stuff like jumper cables, a shovel and a first aid kit.
My SUV came with a fully loaded first aid kit & I always have jumper cables. I have an ice scraper & as for a snow shovel it snows here every ten years.
Yes, I do. Both a digital one and one of the pressure-operated analog ones.
And my car tells me, but I like the backup.
My brother from another mother you were taught well & bravo on the backup all the way.
@Static_In_The_Attic... thank you sir! Yes... dad gave me the basics and the right things. :)
My vehicle monitors tire pressure. I don't keep a gauge in the car but there is one in my toolbox. Looks just like the one in the picture.
Technology helps & I’m sure your vehicle monitors a lot & as a back up you can always open your tool box.
The Tesla tells me the pressure, the other ICE car does not and I keep a pressure gauge in it.
Outstanding & don’t forget to check the spare tire from time to time as well.
Check that spare bro & trust me I learned that lesson.
what? no. why would i? most new cars tell you tire pressure issue and there's a tire gauge on the air pump station. worthless devices
What may be worthless devices to some might not be worthless devices to others. As for me my vehicle is a 2011 & although it has TPMS sensors & a dashboard light that will illuminate when my tire pressure is low it won’t tell me which tire is low & in my case a tire pressure gauge does the trick. As for air pump stations I noticed their gauges aren’t always right.
so i had a 2010 FJ Cruiser and that damn light always went off! none of my tires were low. in fact the one tire it was sensing was the spare tire lolol. it drove me mad! i couldn't rely on the sensor anymore. i had to walk the car to make sure none of the tires were low
That is something you never really think of & sensing your spare is one of them. This afternoon I had to breakout the tire gauge because my spare was about ten pounds low & I said before I need it I better top it off. Funny thing in my garage I used a manual bike pump to add ten pounds.
i was gonna say. might as well carry your bike pump with you as well ;D
Voted no, because I'm not sure where it is. I do check pressures every so often, but frankly tyres are usually an all or nothing deal.
I always keep mine in the center console with pens & other junk.
No, but I should. That seems like a great idea.
A great idea it is & for around three dollars it’s well worth it. You can pick up a tire pressure gauge at any auto parts store & Walmart as well. If you open your drivers side car door there is usually a sticker that tells you what the correct tire pressure should be.
You totally need one & they make great stocking stuffers as well.
Cars made after September 1, 2007 in the USA are required to have TPMS, but most don't tell you which tire is low and gas station air pump gauges can be wildly inaccurate, so yes.
My vehicle was born in 2011 & although it has TPMS it doesn’t work the way I wish it did however cars nowadays tell you everything. My tires run at 35lbs & slowly overtime those tires lose air. Months back all of my tires were at 32lbs & the TPMS dashboard light did not turn on however if one tire is higher or lower than the others it flashes. It was brought to my attention that sometimes it could pick up your spare tire which mine is underneath my vehicle & in my case it didn’t pick it up.
No need to: I see from outside when it's flat 😜
A visual inspection is always a good thing
Apparently, flat tyres rarely are flat in their upper section.
I keep one in each car and truck and I also carry a pocket size one in vest pocket
Outstanding & you can never have to many & they always come in handy.
In my older vehicles (without air pressure sensors in the wheels), yes. In the newer ones with built in sensors, no.
Cars today are amazing & during an accident they even call emergency services which I think is great. Some schedule maintenance for you & so much more.
Yes I will put this in my truck
That was a quick throw together & the microphone on my iPad really sucks & enjoy. It’s your turn bro!
https://youtu.be/ZgpEVzCUr3s WTF! I just had to look that $hit up. Go for it!
You are the modern day Mr. Bill & that was dead on & better, well done Goober, Goober Little Buddy.
I think MR. BILL should take a drive & go to his local fast food drive through & order in that voice. I’ve done it & next thing you know there are five people standing at the window waiting for you.
Also carry a pressure pack that works off the car battery.. just in case.
A pressure pack is always a handy thing as long as you have a good battery. This afternoon I checked my spare & instead of going out to fill it up I looked in the corner of my garage & saw my manual bicycle tire pump & I said I wonder if that would work. It took a lot of pumping, it worked.
i should but i dont.
Same thing with jumper cables so make sure you buy a set if you do not already have them.
I have one along with some other stuff.
Same here & like a tire gauge that other stuff comes in handy as well.
Yes I do. I also keep a pump as well.
If it were within my power to give you all the flowers I absolutely would & for being prepared stars to you my friend. You’re ok in my book.
Of course, who doesn’t?
Surprisingly a lot of people don’t & I think those things would make good little gifts.
use to - now my car does it for me
Nowadays cars do a lot for you & I can only imagine what the future may hold. Come on airless tires.
now that would be fucking amazing.
I always do
Yes sir & most of all well done.
Yeah, I think I have like three of them and two of them go to 120 pounds
My tire gauge looks like a pen & it goes to fifty pounds & it’s the same one in my post.
My spare needed air & I used my bicycle pump to pump it up.
I also have a portable air compressor in the trunk
Yup.
Bravo brother & well done.
Yes I do.
Bravo bro & well done.
